Well, the other day I was really into these girls that came in wearing hunters gear. I think her seeking your attention is more about her and how she feels about herself then about how she feels about you.

Tish is pretty spot on with this. Basically the girl wants you to be an orbiter. By asking her out you’ve conveyed your interest, and while she may not be interested in you, she does like you being interested in her. Your attention and interest is her validation. She may not have any intention of escalating anything, but when you show attention to other women and especially if they reciprocate and flirt back she gets resentful because and no offense but her attitude “He’s MY puppy, get somebody else to follow you around”. After I got sick of talking with her and just started ignoring her last night… She asked me why I stopped being so talkative and she stated that it was pissing her off. Seriously… I’m not a vending machine that just keeps putting out attention. She has to give something back or I’ll stop giving at all. Yeah, I’m definitely NOT her puppy and it bothers her. She can have all the attention she wants from me, for her and her alone, if she were to be my girl or at least give in and be a friend outside work.
