creed summer cologne

im a big fan of fresh summer fragrances, and lately im thinking of rocking niche colognes from the house of creed.usually summer colognes are too light with really bad longevity.so my question is which creed fresh cologne offer moderate strenght(abit more robust than your generic light summery scents)with decent longevity? thanks

Well, summer is not quite here yet (for many of us at least). I hope it’s not too late.

Some good summer scents from Creed:
-Green Irish Tweed (big fan base here at AD)
-Original Vetiver (grassy type fragrance)
-Virgin Island Water (coconutty frag, suffers of some longevity depending on batch)
-Millessime Imperiale (freshly sliced watermelons, on my skin lasts 2-3 hrs, maybe because of batch variation or olfactory fatigue)
-Aventus(this one is spicier and enduring, could definitely work for summer. Variation on longevity and scent is reported by some according to batch #).
-Erolfa and Silver Mountain Water, I can only remember them being spicy/fresh scents

also Nose France boutique has a cool link on their website (make sure you click the English button) where you can type your favorite colognes or perfumes and it will analyze your “scent” profile and recommend 5 more. I just did this for my favorite summer vs winter scents and can’t wait to try them all!

Green Irish Tweed is a common favorite for summer usage. I’ve found it works quite well, even in hot and humid conditions.

Silver Mountain Water is another favorite of mine, it’s a fresh scent that I have found to have excellent projection and average to above average longevity.

Aventus is also good for summer use though I have found that it works better for a more intimate setting (one on one dates, for example).

Millesime Imperial I’ve tried and am not a fan of but it works well. Personally, GIT and SMW are good choices for projection and longevity.

Bois Du Portugal: this one is not an easy one to work with. First impressions are that it smells like an old man’s cologne, like a barber shop or what your grandfather would wear. Depending on your age, it can be hard to work with. If you’re in your 30’s or older, then it can work because it gives off a mature, protective vibe, it invokes memories of our fathers (that’s what I’ve heard). That can go any way you want to take it but I’ve found it works very well in the winter time and summer time and is excellent in the office but caution: use sparingly! It’s very potent.

Green Irish Tweed doesn’t seem to last long but better smelling though.
