Well, I got EoW today and I wore some… around my mom even. She didn’t say anything when we went out shopping and did some errands (cat food and the like). Then I told her over lunch what I was wearing (she knows I wear pheromones), and what copulins did, and she and I had a few laughs. She didn’t really feel any different around me at all. At one point she did get some hot flashes and a little nervous, though, but that could just be the heat. We stopped and got some water for her, and I needed some labels for vials, too.
BTW, self-effects seemed pretty mild from just one drop. I felt maybe a little more masculine, maybe a little more powerful. I felt a bit “nervous” when I first put it on, though. Frisky? There’s definitely a sexual component to this stuff, although I wouldn’t say it’s very forward, unless you want it to be. I didn’t feel highly sexualized, maybe just a touch. Manwhore? Definitely not. Ladies man? Maybe. It’s not so much a “jerk” kind of effect like I was expecting, more like a “smooth” guy that is confident around women. That could be the other pheromones I was wearing, too. Plus I’m no longer a teenager or young guy with raging hormones. I can imagine in women it would make them look more feminine and approachable in larger doses.
I got lots of IOI’s from men, a few from women- I was walking with my mom… maybe they thought I was taken
. All the women I interacted with treated me well, I didn’t sense any negative reactions, but I only interacted with a few people. I did not wear this stuff alone, but I wore it with some Scent of Eros, Instant Shine, and a little androsterone/Instant Gentleman (5mcg androsterone)… oh, and a touch of NPA, not alot, maybe the equiv. of 1/4 of a drop.
Oh yeah, this copulins stuff smells like a really funky aged cheese combined with wine or vinegar. It’s very wierd smelling, doesn’t smell masculine at all. think it might be better diluted to half a drop, although 1 drop didn’t seem to produce any wierd reactions I’m not sure it’s good at that dosage every day.
Edit… hmm… the smell is getting much stronger. Actually, I feel a bit nauseous, for some reason… Probably a combination of greasy food, heat I’ve experienced during the day, and the smell of the pheromones and the cologne (It’s a little intense for summer, honestly). I ran to the bathroom and threw up a little, then grabbed some water to try and settle my stomach. The smell is mingling a bit with the cover scent (OS Pure Sport) and its really a potent, twangy smell just sitting here on the computer and I made the mistake of putting my arm near my face, yecch… I’ve got a sensitive stomach when it comes to odors sometimes
I’m feeling my pulse and anxiety go up just a wee bit, too… and um, some sexual thoughts are sort of creeping into my consciousness more often with this stuff (how embarassing, but it’s in the name of “science”
.
I think you need to cover this stuff up really well, it’s kind of nasty after a while. But like I said, I’ve got a really sensitive nose for a guy. I think I need to dilute this stuff for sure if I wear it again. I feel like a bit of a teenager or something wearing this stuff with raging hormones, plus the smell is, umm… potent. If I break out in zits tomorrow or the day after, I’ll know what to blame (BTW, I still get acne even in my 30’s- heat in summer seems to cause breakouts, plus sunscreen. I use tea tree pads and Clearasil pads every day, otherwise my pores clog up and I get papular acne).
Now I can perfectly understand why they call that stuff “Dirty”, BTW. It really does seem to insert sexuality into a guys mind in a way androstenone doesn’t.
If it doesn’t make him toss cookies first
LOL.
Addendum: Later in the day we had a movie to return to Best Buy, and my brother came along. We wen’t out to eat afterwards at some cheap place. On the way home, I noticed a certain hostility in everybody’s voice. The copulins smell was still pretty strong on my arms, even after the cologne weared off. By this point in the day I believe my other pheromones had been reduced alot. I felt vulnerable. In the restaurant, noises seemed louder and everything was irritating. In the car, the convo was dominated by negative vibes, people just seemed a little edgey and not as cool. I don’t know if copulins were a cause or not. I do know I did some research on the ingredients, and one of the ingredients is butyric acid. This is the rank smell in BO, the nasty smelling stuff you find on rancid butter, etc.
Tentative hypothesis and conclusions: Perhaps a man wearing copulins requires sufficient buffers of other pheromones, otherwise he’ll seem like the sexual interloper that just happened to get lucky, and thus, open to attack? I have no idea but this whole thing has raised my suspicions about copulins. Plus, the stuff is darn hard to wash off, it’s about as bad as androstenone, maybe even worse. I also have to wonder if maybe the Essence of Woman is attempting to be too realistic with the butyric acid, perhaps there are other ingredients that are less offensively odored but contribute more to the sexual effect? Perhaps there are ingredients in this copulins product that promote hostility?
Further musings: Is copulins actually the odor of female smegma? Smegma - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia Not to get too graphic, but men can make their own version of this too (assuming they are like the majority of men on this planet, and not, er, surgically altered, circumcised). Actually, now that I think of it, copulins is just the smell of rotting dead skin cells and oil. That would explain all those acids in the stuff. Is it really a pheromone? I guess it does alter peoples’ behavior somewhat, but it’s not directly made by the human body, at least not most of the ingredients. Propionic acid, valeric, butyric acid, etc (reading some stuff from the ingredients list on the bottle) are usually the result of bacterial decay, and aren’t even uniquely found in genitalia.
