Yeah, I don’t like clubs, either.

High school and younger?! Are you telling me there are kids 13 and younger on Match? That’s a little dangerous…

I read that paid sites are notorious for mismatching you so that you don’t find anyone and stay on as a paying customer. PlentyofFish.com is also free, and has a place in the profile to indicate whether you want kids as well as whether you already have them.

I also read about DinkLink.com, which is a fairly new childfree dating site. It requires a paid subscription to correspond, though, and because it’s new there aren’t many people on it, so I haven’t joined that one.

So far I’ve joined the aforementioned Childfree Singles Yahoo group, OkCupid, PlentyOfFish and Mate1.com, which I think is primarily for the under 30 crowd (but I have seen a few people on there 30-35, so it might be worth a look). Mate1 is the only one that doesn’t offer a place to specify whether you want/have kids, but I wrote it in my profile.

No… I was saying when I’m out in public and see singles (or those I presume to be single) they are usually all kids. I’ll see families, Moms with small children (waiting for schoolbus or shopping etc.), or men mostly. And most either of high school age or aged seniors. The 35-45 age range is rarely seem in public in my experience… single or otherwise, for both male and female!. Probably either at work or collapsed at home after work…

Oh, sorry, love–I completely mis-read that.

35-45s: Or at Dance classes, like me!
