Dumped again !!

Well said charles and think on this, the only person putting her out of your league is yourself. Stop putting yourself down and remember, no-one is out of your league  that sort of negative self talk is probably what caused her to move on in the first place. Now, find a mirror and talk yourself up.

@Jankren, without wishing to start another flame war on here, every single post of yours I read comes across as negative, not sure if it’s your writing style, me interpreting you wrongly or whatever. This is a happy place for the most part, could I ask that you think of the negative impact your words may have on some people?

What Diamond said is absolutely correct. I hear that phrase “way out of my league” a lot, and it is sort of a ridiculous statement. all it says to me is you need a little confidence boost, and you will literally end this “out of league” problem altogether.

I understand that seeing a girl you view as extremely beautiful can, for guys(this is the only point of view i know), be a heart stopping, mind numbing, turn all your words into mindless drivel experience. I know, i’ve been there, and sometimes it still happens. but you are going to have to learn to just mentally talk yourself down, take a breath and treat her like a normal person. that is pretty much all there is too it. practice makes perfect.

I say this in complete confidence, even though i have never met you, I believe you can have any girl you want. Truly.

Good luck buddy.

Getting dumped is a normal part of life. She did it to you and you’ll eventually do it to someone else. Nothing you can do about it. We all end up getting involved with someone not right for us and have to wiggle out. I’m ashamed of some of the things I did but breaking up is pretty impossible without some damage. Sure it stings now but, with time, you’ll get over it, maybe even laugh about it.

I think Miko is right: learn to hold back your feelings until you’re really sure about the relationship and meanwhile enjoy the ride. I learned to do it after a few major heartbreaks, so you can too. If you’ve in the habit of diving in the deep end too quickly you’ll frighten off most women anyway (you appear weak and clingy).

Yes it hurts. potted history here.
Six years ago I met a woman whilst I was on the rebound, dived in the deep end, child within the year. We are now divorcing and, whilst it hurt ( and still does in some way), I picked myself up, gave myself a talking to and am back on the horse.Shit happens, who cares, who’s next, if you don’t like it, jog on!

I read somewhere that the average child is told ‘NO’ over 100,000 times before they reach 18 but only hear ‘YES’ about 10,000 times. this programs the subconscious into a negative mindset from a very early age.

Work out a suitable mantra for yourself (‘I’m fantastic and women love me’
or whatever works for you) and say it to yourself in the mirror ten times a day, this will reprogram you to a positive mindset even if you don’t believe it to start with. Sounds simple but it works for me.

All the support your getting here is right on.

How many times have you seen a hot babe with some ugly guy? I see it all the time.. and believe me that guy is not thinking about how awful he is.

Mantras (affirmations), staying postive and optimistic, speaking to yourself in loving ways, moving on and quickly out of situations that dont work out, using these situations to grow from.. not harp on, being the Best you can be, you’ll be attracting Best woman/women for you and opportunites open up in your life all around.

Its the Law of Attraction.

Diamond, you’re fantastic and women love you damn it! :stuck_out_tongue:

You go diamond, good thing you’re doing just that, and actually if I’m not mistaken doing already great with the gals (or gal.) I’d say gals though, you guy you.

Yes…

It is the plural… “gals…”

Miss you, Diamond!

did you have sex with her?

Yes! Because diamond is the man and can get more than one gal! You pimp you.

that is a great affirmation diamond, thanks I’m going to give it a try!
