That would be a hilarious line to use on her. But honestly man, it sounds like you’ve gotten completely out of rhythm over this, and need to get yourself back on track. You need to step back and think about if you’re being the kind of man she would want to date.
You really think a beautiful, intelligent, idk what her job is I’m assuming doctor, wants a guy who skips work to get a bottle of spray-on pheremones? If she makes more money than you, that’s not the biggest issue in the world. But it sounds like she’s a really motivated women, and if you skip work and/or don’t work very hard when you’re there, she’s gonna see that as a character flaw.
You also mentioned other women at the hospital several times. So step back form the situation and objectively ask yourself, “Am I the guy at the hospital who hits on every women I work with?” Because if you are, that’s something that will get back to her, and make you look bad. Maybe she honestly likes you, but if you’ve been shot down by 5 nurses, she’s gonna feel conflicted about being the one who says yes to you.
My advice, similar to a lot of other people’s is to back off of her for a while. You work with her, so she’s not going anywhere. Also, DO NOT let any other women in the hospital turn you down. If you can start dating one of them, it would be a good idea, but if not, start meeting women outside of your workplace. And just make yourself more important than this woman for a while. Go to the gym, pursue your hobbies, try to get a promotion at work or a better job somewhere else. Whatever you do, just stop hanging on her every move.
Based on what I’ve read in this thread, it seems like you’ve put this women out of your league. Lets say that when you two met, you were both in AAA. Well over the course of the last two years, she didn’t get called up to the majors, you got dropped to AA. SO if I were you, I’d take some time to get myself back on track.
