Yeah, this comment I made about many men not havin anything against girls raping them, ofcourse it was not made about every man and every situation or to lessen the awful thing the word stands for, but a thought of a sexual act with some threat of violence, without actually getting beaten up into a bloody bulp, would probably rather turn men on, but yeah, I don’t really know much about smutty novels, maybe girls get turned on too, but Ithink to a lesser extent, even taking into account the fact that by nature, woman is the “taken” part of the sexual act and man is the “taker”, by which an atractive man would be the one that wis able to take control, to actually take the woman, determined and strong-willed.
I actually don’t want to talk about rape much more, but I will say that using pheromones compared to rape, I don’t this comparison works very well. If pheromones would be preceived as manipulation, then, well, most of the lives we live, could be labeled manipulation. Human should be somewhat selfish and out for his/her own good, to look atractive, be compatitive. Using pheromones could be considered as cheating though to some extent, it might be looked at like using steroids to getting good muscles, some outside help for your own good. I wouldn’t think much about myself if I were to use them just to get girls and if I knew I couldn’t get any otherwise, if I would only and solely rely on them, which, while being said through the ever anonymous internet, doesn’t probably mean much, I don’t.
I think I like experimenting with it and love all sorts of such neat tricks, like, as I’ve mentioned in another post, spanish fly. Great if it has good effects and if it gets me laid or whatnot, but I don’t think I fall into the category of really needing it, though, yeah, I know, that’s what most addicts say and there is no way anyone should or could actually believe me, but that’s besides the point.
Is using pheromones ethical or moral or whatnot by societies eyes? I don’t care, I’ve never really cared for much of the stuff these words stand for. I do however care about my own standards and things I believe in and with that there could be a clash, because it could go against them, but that would probably be when I start to rely on them too much and they start equaling with me wanting to have sex and going far away from the aproach of “hehehe, such neat things. Let’s see what they’ll do in this situation!”
They have actually made me better at communicating with people when I’m not using them. I’m smiling more to girls and cracking jokes to total strangers, making stupid remarks and not only in a known and close friends involving situations, but often with whoever and you know, it tends to make a big impression, being open with complete strangers. Especially in a cold place like Estonia, where everyone tends to keep to their own bubble and walk around with depressed faces. It does have to be in context though, because in some situations you could get punched in the face for too inapropriately smiling in some places, because, and this I suport to an extent, estonians don’t like false and hypocritic politeness. Like the commercials on the tv, when someone comes to you in the airport rubbing shit into your clothes and holding a pack of Ariel in one hand, promising to clean it out, he would probably get punched in the face and not get the reaction of “wait, show me how it’s done?” and “wow!” My friend, who works in the military police, has had to search through some people about having weapons or other illegal stuff and can’t stop being surprised how americans and some other people thank him for that while he feels they should punch him in the face, because it’s the reaction he’d have and well, probably me too. That is besides the point though. Pheromones have given me a better perspective on communication that works fluidly without me wearing them.
Being scared to communicate, rather protective, it’s not a great turn on.
