Hiding the boyfriend
Ok, how about this, then? A girl at work to whom I made the stupid mistake of telling her that I’m interested in her right at about the time she just started a new relationship tries to avoid mentioning her boyfriend whenever I’m around.
One time she showed me her camera to look at pictures of a night out she had with her co-workers and as we got to a picture with her and her boyfriend together she grabbed the camera away from me.
As soon as I found out that she was taken, I stopped flirting with her and backed off. I wasn’t cold or anything just did not joke around with her as much and started giving the other girls in the office more of my attention.
Is this a case of “keeping the lines of communication open”? Or is she just trying to avoid awkwardness?
Would this be one?
Could this be an IOI? A girl I kind of like spots me across the room while i’m on the piano, she says my name in one of those cutesy high-pitched girly voices and comes towards me and sits on the piano bench beside me.
Now I’m throwing down on the piano, so i’m not going to let her slow me up, I just sort of give her that sly smile and continue playing. Then a few seconds later (I was wearing ammo and A314) she just starts rubbing my head and smiling. She has been giving a lot of kino lately… but yea. I guess thats one? Maybe? It was actually kind of awkward.
Every time I read this thread, I’m just like, “fuuuuuuuuuck” while reading over everything. I missed so many IOIs!
Also, the other day, this one girl kept insisting that I let her straighten my hair. I gave some resistance but gave in and she made me get on my knees in front of her while she did it. I was so close I pretty much pressing my face into her stomach. She purposefully messed it up at first, making me look like alfalfa, and then I made her fix it, lol. Does this mean anything? She knows I’m straight, btw, in case any of you were thinking she thought I was gay.

Tonight I was at my friends birthday party and it was a complete sausage fest and I was reaaaaaaaaally disappointed. 18 guys and two extremely cute girls who are best friends. One girl has a boyfriend, the other is single. The single one stayed with me the whole time. Even when we played a game when each person chose a partner and split off with them to hide, she chose me. She wore my jacket the whole time. She also wanted to go to a place the locals call “The Top of the World.” She didn’t make it clear that she wanted to go with me, but she kept telling me “let’s goooooo” in a kind of whiny tone. “Top of the World” is just a big hill with a nice view. We didn’t go because it started raining. Her friend took her home and the night was pretty much over after that. What do you guys think? This girl’s pretty hard to read.

THIS WAS NOT A IOI at all it was a stalker , who probably had a big knife in her purse and was about to cut you up cause you were playing badly on teh piano… Of course it was a IOI and if you have to ask, when something like that was so obvious, you need yo go back to "man school and re read teh chaprter on IOI.
I know some of us are really dense when it comes to IOI, but she is running her hands all over you. Think man think. start running your hands all over her see what she says. I bet she says take me home

Guys when a woman does something a bit out of teh ordinary thats IOI pay attention. She wasnt fooling with her hair, she was fooling with yours.

I wasn’t wearing mones that night as my first order has yet to arrive. And this girl is known to be very finicky when it comes to guys. For example, she hates it when guys hit on her, doesn’t like dancing with guys, and a lot of the guys, including her ex, were warning me that it wouldn’t turn out well. Whatever, I’ll probably take her there today.

Hey pepot, well, what I would say about that is that she probably and most likely likes you. When a girl avoids or does not talk about her boyfriend in front of you is because there’s some type of interesnt in you. Now, I dunno if she knows you like her, but most likely she does, so that’s why she doesn’t wanna mention her bf or either for u to see pictures or see how is their relationship. She wants to keep you as close as she can, so in case something happens between her and the guy, she can have you there.
You mentioned that u told her what u felt whenever she just started a relationship, u probably should’ve done it before that happened. I do not know what is the history of ur relationship, but she was probably waiting for u to give that next step and hit on her. Now that she is with another guy, it is not as easy as breaking up with him right now, even if she likes you… Now it is just matter of time, but continue talking to her on a friendly and respectful manner, but don’t give her much attention or then she will get either bored of you and dump you, or she will think she has u in the palms of her hands and not give u the place u deserve.

How do I know if its the -mones working, or if its just because I am a charming guy and they are truly attracted to me? I am not bragging or anything but how does one differentiate the two? Or is it impossible?
At that point, does it matter? While a search on the forum will net you some answers to the question, in the end you both dig each other and are having fun right?
I encountered this for the 4Th time since using ad products, I don’t understand why but I know it’s a IOI so I was hope someone could decipher why this happens! I was out tonight,a woman was taking pictures and she was giving eye contact and when I walked past her she snap a picture of me in my face, this is the 4Th time this has happened in different bars. i don’t understand why they need a pic?
