wow - i wore a little edge gel when i went out last night, and i can see where it can cause trouble. I’ll have to check Phero’s link and see if fighting was in the air last night, but everyone was on edge, and not in a good way. It was just generally an explosive evening. I was starting to get irritated by every little thing, the rest of my group start to get rowdy, one of my guys almost got into it with a friend of mine that touched him the wrong way, i actually threw an elbow at someone on purpose, some other guy really did start a fight (that had nothing to do with me tho - which leads me to wonder what was in the air).
I don’t know if -none makes a situation aggressive, or if general aggressiveness gets amped up when there’s more -none in the air. either way, I understand what y’all men say about it now.
None can create an aggressive atmosphere. I was once around a coworker with lots of none and talked to him for 1/2 hour. He went off and told me he was in a shoving match and almost in a fist fight in a very professional party (a party for a leading IT consulting firm).
The odd thing I have worn large amounts of -none for years and not once have experienced aggressive or rowdy behavior. How do you get that? Perhaps my Buddha like countenance defeats or buffers androstenone a little too well.
Nunya, does the term “high tone” mean anything to you? Perhaps you hang out with hypertonic lads (the extreme here would be muscular / jaw clicking / fidgety / “kinetic” body type) … and my hypothesis is that even mild hypertonia + the slightest excess of -none is explosive, while a hypotonic fella can bathe in -none, almost, with out adverse consequences.
I did some covert testing, and sprayed 2mg of -none on the jeans of a (hypertonic) coworker before we left for the night – the next day, he related that riding home, a guy first tried to pick a fight with him, and then with another person next to him…
yeah these guys definitely fit hypertonia - lots of muscles, definitely kinetic, with an aptitude for territorial disputes and posturing - I can’t speak to any jaw-clicking tho. basically youngbucks. They are sweet guys but get a couple who don’t like each other together, add -none to the mix, and things take an explosive turn. I will be keeping that in mind from now on. I think what surprised me more is how i got affected by the vibe. I never get physical, and i was ready for a brawl myself.
Heh, I do have a mental image, formed just from your posts, of you, and I imagine you to be mildly hypertonic. Very hawt for a young lady!
The jaw clicking comes in a few forms: the most obvious and clearest is gum-chewing, which takes the fidgety/kinetic and puts it right into the guy’s facial musculature.
The second form happens when a guy repeatedly drops his jaw down from the mastoid socket, and then pulls it back up in an exaggerated fashion; it’s sort of like cracking one’s knuckles, except it’s the jaw instead. If they do it often enough, there is wear on the mastoid joint and a real “click” is audible (though muffled) when the operation is performed.
Less usual are the whole panoply of (frequent) facial grimaces and the even more uncommon unconscious tics and tension twitches.
Sounds like you had a great / memorable experience though, and no one was hurt – a success on all accounts. An OD now / then (deliberate or not) is not always bad.
I experienced the aggressiveness a few years ago with Primal Instinct. I hadn’t done any real research and I wanted to see if the stuff really worked. So I spread on at least 6 drops and went to work. The none made me feel aggressive…almost violent, like I wanted to fight someone. Everyone at work stayed clear of me that day.
i have Jas screen all my products for 'none, as i think the most i have personally used is what i have tried with Ammo (i dont use the TUTH)
and even then its super-light usage.
nothing fun about being irritated.
temporary sexual tension is okay.
we think about who we affect when we have specific company, but im not sure how many people take into consideration the people they may affect when they have to be in a strangers company for a prolonged period (taxi, ect) they dont get the sexual tension, they get the bad mood for no reason thing i think. IMO.
Haha - yeah I think i might be - i know I can be fidgety and a bit rough and tumble at times. I understand - I’ve never seen the jaw thing, actually i take that back - i’ve seen it once, when soemone really was about to brawl, but the gum-chewing is definitely there. as for the evening I wouldn’t call it great, but it definitely was memorable. We’ll have to see how many grudges actually stick, as time passes.
Yeah I was feeling the same way by the end of the night. I finally just had to leave early, cuz I started feeling claustrophobic, and like i was gonna snap.
Once a girl I met for the first time on a date started twitching with a facial tic while I was wearing some -none…
I really thought she was weird and she never accepted a second date, just as well…
Yup, I have to back that up. My first experience with pheros was initially with Primal Instinct. I used 2 drops and immediately felt irritable…the type of irritation that’s akin to being woken up in the middle of the sleep cycle, without the grogginess, if that makes any sense.
Yeah, I’ll concur with that one. I’m relatively new to pheromone use (about two months, now). When I first got my products, I did a little “work test”: I put on a couple drops of A314 and doused myself with 3 sprays of Ammo double-stuff (that’s like 6 sprays of regular strength). At first I felt like I was the man. Then I got a major buzz that wouldn’t go away. I was edgy and aggressive, and acting like I was majorly stressed. At one point I snapped with a loud “FU#K!” when one of our sales reps called in and started laying into me about some production issues. He was trying to pick a fight with me over the phone, and I told him to bring it on. He backed off and told me to have a nice day, and hung up. Later, a girl who I know well, who witnessed this, told me that I was acting scary.
At first I thought it was the A314, but then after reading some of the posts here, I realized it was the -none. So, I did a couple of intentional -none-only ODs later just to confirm this, and got similar results in terms of self-effects (buzz, aggressiveness, edginess, etc). One of these experiments involved trying a more concentrated form of -none (NPA). I also tried that one at work: not only did I get the annoying buzz and edginess, but I also found myself not able to handle basic tasks that I normally do, and not able to concentrate; also couldn’t verbally communicate effectively (couldn’t find the words). I felt so edgy and aggressive, the whole day I felt like kicking someone’s (anyone’s) ass, for no reason other than just because. Then, one guy who I get along with well, came up to me and hit me on the shoulder, demanding money for the lottery pool. He didn’t mean it in a harmful way - he’s really a nice guy, and that’s just the way he is, doing things like that for fun. But I was in a dark place from the -none, and I turned at him and snapped. He took it with a grain of salt and laughed as he walked away, and when I understood later where my reaction had come from, I apologized to him.
Needless to say, -none is no-longer part of my “work mix”. I do great with A314 on its own, and I rule the office if I throw in some Instant Shine. If I do fuel the mix with Ammo or -none, just to spice things up, it’s in very, very small amounts.
I notice that I drive really aggressively with -none. Although, Ammo doesn’t really make me aggressive, it’s too soft. Neither does NPA. I agree, though, Primal Instinct really brings out the tiger in me. Or at least it used to, I haven’t used it in a while.
