Self effects.
A -none (https://pheromonelabs.com/) headache for about 5 minutes but then it dissipated to more of a sinus pressure for about 30 minutes. I also noticed that I felt pretty calm. Happy but calm and (this will sound odd) like I felt very graceful in my movements. I just floated around very smoothly in my movements. I noticed myself standing taller and feeling as though my movements were slower and more grounded. I’ve experienced this both times I’ve given this a go and I feel like one of the Ents from Lord of the Rings in how I move. Slowly, gracefully, purposefully. I LOVE the self effects I get from this. Just calm, happy and laid back. I am Joe Cool.
Effects to others
I was taking my mom to visit a relative in the hospital so she started out concerned but was downright chipper after about 2-3 minutes of exposure. By the time we got to the hospital she had decided that everything was alright. Very out of character.
Hits O’Plenty!
Seriously. More hits than I can fit into a report. 90% of the people I interacted with today happened to be female (nurses, P.T’s, O.T’s, etc) but everytime one got within 4’-6’ of me, they reacted (positively).
I did have one PCT (Personal Care Technician- a nurses aid) who I honestly thought was reacting badly until I was getting ready to take my mom home and she made a point of jogging down the hall to say goodbye and that she really liked talking with me (not ‘us’, me). I’d tried earlier getting her to talk but she wasn’t very talkative. Apparently the ICM had more of an impact than I thought.
When I say that people reacted positively I should mention that I’ve been around hospitals a lot over the last 10 years with the person I was there for today. I’ve seen all sorts of people and how they interact with patients and their families. What I saw today was outside the norm. I had a single RN (she told me she was) start out talking to my dad and end up talking to me and take a break sitting in the room with us talking mostly to me. Really attractive… If I didn’t have a GF who’d probably go Glenn Close on me…
A P.T. who told me/us at least 4 times that her name was ‘Rhonda’ and that if I needed anything (again referring to and looking at me not the actual patient) to call her and then she wrote her extension AND her name down on the dry erase board in the room. As you can tell, she seemed to be really hit hard by this composite.
Everyone who came through the door would gravitate to me. I was sitting on a windowsill on the far side of the room from the entrance yet if they got within my phero cloud, it was over for them. Just for giggles, if someone was more in the middle of the room I’d walk past pretending to stretch my legs and that was also all it took. They’d DIHL and look at me. Next thing I know they were a captive audience. This is just a condensed version of the events of the 6 or so hours that I’d had this on. There was even more hits that happened but I don’t have the time or space to write it all.
I do have a question for those in the medical field. A woman had come in with a surgical type mask on. How well do those REALLY work at filtering germs and such? At first this woman seemed totally unaffected even though she was within a few feet of me. After about 5 minutes or so she suddenly looked at me and then the next thing I know she’s talking to me like I’m the only person in the room. (As you can tell, this happened a lot today.) I didn’t get anything really in the sense of touchy feeliness but lots of other indications of being interested. LOTS of eye contact, lots of body language, etc.

Okay. Right from the start I am going to cop to this fact. If I hadn’t experienced this and had witnesses to how today went, I would seriously doubt the veracity of my report. This was one of those rare, wonderful conjunctions that occurs sometimes where it seems like all the pieces just fall into place.
This morning I’d taken a mix I’d made 10 days ago of 50% ICM composite at 5x original strength combined with 50% DPG with 6.6% ylang ylang oil and mixed it with Common Scents Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille cologne oil. This diluted down my phero mixture to about a quarter of its original strength so I figured it would take a LOT more to do the same job. This is where I misjudged. It is possible that the diffusion on the Tobacco Vanille is that good (it is really good by the way) or I’ve been putting on WAY more oil/phero mix than I actually needed. It is also possible that the plant musks and ylang ylang are improving the diffusion characteristics well enough that I don’t need as strong a phero ‘punch’.
I do have another batch I made today that is identical to the Tobacco Vanille I wore today except that it is made with Common Scents Sandalwood Classic scent. I’ll have to try that one and see if I get the same effects. If this is repeatable I am a very happy Snoopy dog. It does smell very nice out of the bottle so I do have pretty high hopes for this one as well. I’ve done a lot of testing to see what I feel works well and what maybe doesn’t work so well. I think I may be hitting on some combinations that work. It isn’t so much HOW STRONG your phero mix is but HOW IT DIFFUSES that seems to be at least as important. This was also a long lasting composite today. It was going strong at 6 hours after initial application. I was getting the same quality hits as I was 20 minutes after my initial application.
If I can get away with diluting this down to a 25% concentration while still getting great hits I am going to be able to make a batch and have it go a very long way. This is important to me because the oil based composites cost me a TON to make so if a little goes a long ways I’ll be all set. I like the alcohol based products, but I LOVE the oil. I’m a hot and sweaty guy even in winter so if I can have something that is going to last me all day (or until I wash it off), that is a very good thing.
Edit- Two quick additions. One refers to the fact that this wasn’t just me noticing things today. Both other people there noticed. My mom even laughed and called me the Pied Piper for hospital girls. She commented on how even people who seemed distracted or irritated would perk right up after they were around me. She thought it was pretty funny.
The other is how the self effects seem to also impact the effects on others. I get VERY social feeling when I’m wearing this. I don’t care if I go up and talk to someone. I’m normally much more shy. Because I feel more comfortable around people I’m more likely to talk to them. This opens them up and does seem to help them to feel more comfortable. I saw a lot of situations today where I’d say ‘hi’ after they’d hit my phero cloud and it was as if the socials hit them and they wanted to talk and then after the ~none really hit, they’d edge closer to me and stand much closer than normal. In other words, be congruent with what your phero signature is. Today I think I was giving off a nice slightly alpha vibe that also conveyed approachability. It worked VERY well with the pheros I was wearing.
One more quick edit- I’d mentioned in a prior report that I didn’t like the ylang ylang smell. I noticed today before combining it with the cologne oil that it was much more faint of a scent than it had been. When I combined it with the Tobacco Vanille, it disappeared completely but I do still get a bit of that ‘coolness’ to the nose that seems to almost awaken the receptors in the nasal passages.
