I'm a little desparate

Hello all! I’m writing in conjunction with some research I’m doing to save my relationship.

I’m hoping someone can help me with a delicate problem. My partner is starting to look elsewhere because our sex life is not satisfying her.

You see I have developed premature ejaculation and really want to do something about it but from what I’ve read about it so far, it could take awhile to fix this problem and expensive.

So in hind sight I thought if I tried Pheromones maybe that could keep her interested a while longer without wandering. You see we have two children together and I do so love them all, I don’t want to lose what I got.

Please help

Hello Dave and welcome.

In my opinion, you should see your doctor if you have not done so already. There are numerous medical treatments and programs for this.

Pheromones, whilst providing some self-effects, can help with communication, openness, general attraction and assisting you in becoming more alpha.

It would help greatly if you could tell us more about you, your personality, and what you believe is the cause of your problems. This will also help you to qualify for the $25 gift certificate that Tisha kindly provides.

Do have a good read of The Mens Guideand get a feel for the products and their benefits. Let us know if you have any other questions

Hello Dave and welcome to the forum.

Like alexG says, your problem deal with medical/physical issues that are best solved through a physician. Please see one if you have not already.

I also suspect that there are some relationship problems if she is so willing to leave. Once again the work in that realm is up to you. However pheros can give you a little asssistance there. Try reading the thread in my signature block for married guys even if the two of you are not married.

Again welcome, please see a physician who can best direct you, and best wishes.

Hi dave.

To start with, I doubt there is a guy reading this who hasn’t shot his bolt too early or had concerns about his performance at some stage or another so don’t think you are alone. From what I understand, most cases are either from being overstimulated (after all, it was in the caveman’s interests to get the job done as quick as possible!) or psychological, either way, you can beat this (no pun intended)

You’ve got to see your doctor about this and, as I’m sure you are aware, having done your research, there are a million reasons why it happens and about the same number of options when it comes to treatment.

Pheromonally, I’m not sure that there is too much advice to give, some of the socials may encourage her to stay around a bit longer and TUTH has been used by some of the ladies to increase their arousal which may be beneficial. My main advice remains the same as AG and BH above, see your doctor.

Hi Dave, welcome to our forum!

While I’m not a physician or psychologist I agree with bosshank, in that there are other issues than just the problem you’ve mentioned, causing her to start looking around. And, I’m going to venture a guess that one of those issues is a reduced level of self confidence on your part too.

I have a friend who is a girl and told me about one of her exes that suffered from premature ejaculation. She told me that she used to beg him to masturbate before getting together with her.

In times where I felt myself starting to lose control before I was ready to “finish”, I would do arithmetic in my head. Let me tell you, trying to multiply 26 by 84 in your head while in the middle of the act can really prolong things.

These may be things for you to consider, and even though neither are really solutions, they may at least provide a temporary bandaid.

I know that none of us have given you the answers you’ve asked for, but we are more interested in actually helping others and providing good advice, than just telling someone what they want to hear.

Best of luck to you.

Welcome to the board Dave!!!

I must agree with the what the others have said. I’m not a doctor, and in no position to give medical advice. But to help you in your research, your problem could be caused by one or both of the following:

  1. Physical: which could be an indicator of a more serious medical problem (diabetes, heart and vascular (blood vessel) disease, neurological disorders, hormonal imbalances, chronic diseases such as kidney or liver failure, and alcoholism and drug abuse). Or could be a side effect medications

  2. Psychological: which could be result of work-related stress and anxiety, or maybe your concern about sexual performance, marital or relationship problems, depression, feelings of guilt, and the effects of a past sexual trauma.

I would suggest you seek medical attention soon as a first step, and the results may save your life, your relationship, and your family.

But if you choose to seek the Pheremones route, then maybe things like Instant Shine, Instant Gentleman and Turn Up The Heat could help. I am still new to these products, and maybe others have different opinions.

But being totally honest and personally? I would get the medical attention first.

Hope this helps and good luck

Hello Dave and welcome.

In my opinion, you should see your doctor if you have not done so already. There are numerous medical treatments and programs for this.

Thankyou I will look around, and yes I’m trying to reach my Doctor.

I actually just read in Mens Health that guys with this problem if the masturbate before actual sex they will last longer. Now this doesn’t mean do it a few minutes before sex. Maybe in the morning or early afternoon and then be with your GF later that evening. See if that helps. Also since this is an issue you may need to spend a whole lot more time in the foreplay (oral department) pleasing your girl friend before you dive right in and have sex. Most women don’t have orgasms during intercourse. Keep that in mind. Again info from Mens Health. I do know they make products you can apply that make you less sensitive which in turns helps you last longer.

You’ll want to see an Urologist that specializes in erectile dysfunction issues. They’ll really be able to get to the root cause of your problem. If your GF is important to you, you’ll make an appoint ASAP. Hopefully she’ll also be supportive during this process.

Hello Welcome to Pherotalk

PME is a common problem among men under 40. Your partner needs to be supportive during this period because the solution depends on both of your participation. Both excitement and anxiety can cause it so you need to take a deep breath and try not to think about it during sex so much or you will get anxious and it will happen.

First see a Doctor, just to be sure there is no other health issue going on. In most cases its not something serious physically.

Kegals there not just for women. These will strengthen your pelvic muscles. Next time you have to pee wait as long as you can before going then when you do start to go try to stop the flow over and over. That’s a kegal, Once you get used to this function and isolate the muscle in the bathroom you can work out your pelvic muscle anywhere without being noticed and the muscle responds pretty quickly.

Position can help. With the women on top men take longer to ejaculate.

Before you get to the point of ejaculation stop thrusting and do something else just for 10 to 30 seconds. Then start up again.

Masturbate a few hours before you know you will be having sex.
Or have her participate and make you ejaculate then continue with foreplay until your hard again . Then move on to intercourse. She can help you through this and as I said being your sexual partner she should be doing her part to help and be understanding.

Now there is a spray currently being worked on in the science community that when used 5 minutes before sex can make a man last 6 times longer but its still in testing. Some of the online sex shops do sell prolonging products. The spray they have is similar to that being tested.
This may something you want to try. Edensfantasy

Pheromonally, Real heavy anone products may make you more excited so stick to something like AMMO which is buffered and is attractive. IH for deep communication and connection.

Your GC is on its way

Hi this is Davew19. Thankyou all for your advise, I will be seeing a Doctor this week.:slight_smile::slight_smile:

Have you tried taking any male enhancement pills?
You could also try using desensitizing lubricants.

No I haven’t. But I went to see the Doc last night and he’s put me onto this medication called Fluxo. It’s an antideppressant that they found out 5 y ago that it helps with just this type of problem, for about 90% of cases. Plus the fact that a positive outlook on life always helps. And I’m trying real hard on that!!!

I will keep you all in touch with how I go.

Thank you all

as dumb as this sounds, chloraseptic throat spray. please wash it off before putting it in.

also, don’t take my advice. ever.

anything that numbs you down, i.e. 2 shots of patron can make you last longer, but all the rides at the carnival aren’t as fun…

Glad you decided to see a Doctor. Between the meds and the advice you got here you will be a virtual sex god in no time

Hope you still join us in the forum

Tisha

I’ve seen the Doc and he’s prescribed Fluox. It’s an antideppressant that they have found works well for most suffers of PE. I have had 1 pill everyday for 5 days now and already have had marked improvement.

I’ll keep you posted.

Good man, I would say keep it up but that would be in suspiciously bad taste .

Seriously, glad to see things are getting better, reps for your honesty

Hey that is great news I am so glad its working out for you so far.

It is a delicate subject that men have trouble voicing and I its great that you brought it out in the open because I am sure there are men out there who will benefit from your experience.

Hope to see you in the forum

Tisha

Davew19 here how are you all? I’m on this medication called Fluox from the doctor now (Just over a week, one every day). It’s working a treat, had sex last night for about 30 mins before she asked to stop because she’d had enough ( too tired HAHA!)
Thankyou for all your support I will keep in touch.
