You don’t sound cynical, just frustrated so don’t worry.
I agree with what others have said, that it is often in the subtleties. Those who already know you and are used to your pheromone signature are going to take longer to adapt than those who don’t which is something to bear in mind. The other thing is congruence - you’ll see this word used all over the forum.
As an example - Instant Openness helps conversation flow but you have to be congruent, ie. you may have to start conversation and you’ll have to be friendly and “open” - the mones will then amplify that perception in people. If you are giving an alpha or open signature but your demeanor is the opposite it’s going to confuse people and nothing might happen.
There is a recent post about CTTM2 and the guy says about girls talking to him non-stop. The key to each of his interactions though was that he put himself in a position for that to happen in the first place - starting conversation or making it inevitable. Once that door was opened though the conversation flowed - that’s how it works, part you, part mones.
Likewise A314 - you have to act a bit “alpha” - stand tall and straight, and believe you are alpha and let the mones back that up. I think that helped me when I started, that idea that mones are backup to what I want to portray, not the means of portraying, period. A hobo in Ammo isn’t going to get a great response compared to someone who is dressed the part.
Also try not to look for reactions. Wait until the end of the day and consider what has happened and it is often on reflection you see things. Sometimes I have had hits so blatant I can’t help but notice them and they have made me self-consciously embarassed, other times I’ve thought nothing has happened then I look back and just realise that cumulatively a lot of little things, almost unnoticeable, have made my day go smoother than normal. That’s the magic for me - something small could just be someone being nice. When it’s dozens of people on the same day being friendlier than they have to be you suspect it could be something else. Watch for a barman coming to you first in a crowded bar, or a waitress giving you more attention and bringing you your food a bit quicker than someone who was in before you - it’s not necessarily blatant but it happens.
One of the things that convinces me about these outside of my own experience is how many of us have similar experiences. There are a few of us on here who have independently, and certainly in my case without knowledge of other people’s reports, had similar experiences with the same combo’s (like IG, IS and IO).
As with all these things I think it is at least 90% me, 10% mones which may make some people ask why even bother but as above, see them as back-up, act like who you want to be, and keep on an eye on what happens outside of the ordinary. My interest in all this is almost entirely the social mones and I think they are great for just a little bit of conversational lubricant.
This community seems to be one of the friendliest and most helpful around when it comes to giving product advice too so don’t be afraid to ask for advice and let us know how you get on so we can learn from your experiences too
