Love is...

Love is your fiance stumbling upon your ample stock of mones and not freaking out that I’ve been experimenting on her. Love is being completely cool about it and letting it be known that I can continue to experiment on her.

Wow! Lucky you. Looks like you’ve got a real keeper.

Sounds like you’ve got a keeper, too.

In the spirit of this thread, Love is . . . having someone do handyman work around the house and seeing the effort and good intention put into it, rather than focusing only on the results.

Love is…

Shivering all night sleeping on my uncles cold floor with only a bath towel as a blanket because my little sister (15) was still cold in her sleepin bag so I put my one over her as well to try and keep her warm.

Yes, the English concept of “central heat” never ceases to amaze me :smiley: – but good on you, Gem.

:open_mouth: O MY GOD! That is the sweetest thing I’ve ever read! Eso es amor verdadero…no es nada como la pinta del lobo feroz…no se que decir!

Yo era la helada porque mi disfraz de lobo no tenía la lana más gruesa

LOL!!!

Heh, funny. I have an away message of what i believe love is right now… lemme copy and paste:

There are fine lines between Hate, Infatuation, and Love

  1. Hate is when you see someones flaws… and just their flaws
  2. Infatuation is when you don’t see any flaws, only utter perfection.
  3. Love is when you see flaws but you appreciate them because it makes that one person unique.

The difference between 2 and 3 is the difference between being shallow and having true unconditional love…

hey BlazingAzn88 im going to steal your aay message and post that on my blogs  if you dont mind of corse… btw i wont check back for an answer haha

Its nice to be quoted

crap i checked back… i guess that means its ok… but i did it already… yeah so did u make that up or did u get it from somewhere else

Love is
being overwhelmed with appreciation for those that see past your words or deeds and see you for who you are…

Love is

when you do something, and he or she says “I feel loved.”

"Love brings to light a lovers noble and hidden qualities rare and exceptional traits: it is thus liable to be deceptive as to his normal charachter. - FRIEDRICH NIETZSCHE

People, dont be so ignorant and gullible, there is no such thing as love. Its a self created illusion.

I disagree with that, it’s like say there is no such thing as fear, or lonelyness, or happiness or sadness or excitement or anger…All emotions are self created illusions but that doesn’t mean they don’t exist.

For that matter you could say physical pain doesn’t exist - since it is purely a state of mind

seen as ignorant and gullible would be the absence of love i would think;
as for myself, i prefer my illusion. it keeps my standards higher.

Love is a game to be played with fervor, the only loser is he who throws no dice.

Love is getting broken up with after your girlfriend returns from colorado after her mom sent her there the day after christmas, at the last secound because she is a psycho bitch and hates me to death for some reason… thats real love. espically when she says “I love you but i need time to think things out i dont know what i need i know what i want but not what i need… I’ll let God lead me”… i hated that moment… wednesday sucked… I love God but he doesnt lead me around too much he lets me walk the street blind… I think he likes to watch me suffer… and then when something good happens he claims he did it… (i dont mean to offend im just being sarcastic i know he loves me…)

Love is

not the same as the desire (weak, strong, overwhelming) or wish or intent to love someone.
