Probably. I’ve seen that happen. And sometimes I’ve seen that not happen. It’s strange. It’s almost like a “you’re not cool unless you do it” kind of a thing, I think.
I used to be of the Jewish persuasion, but later in life I converted to narcissism.
And we needed a study to figure this out? Look at what is on TV these days. When you have such winners as “Tela Tequila: A Shot At Love” and these other “reality” shows, this is to be expected. It’s not just Hollywood, it’s advertising and media in general.
That’s just pure evil.

yes, exactly. the last truly severe recession ended in 1982 and since the early 90s the overall economic environment in anglosaxon countries has been improving ever since. alas, I fear the next few decades might not be so easy. we will look back on these years in wonder.

Well it’s no surprise. Alot of young women of today believe that their lives are over by the age of 30. That their only self worth is measured in self aesthetic. They feel a need to get as much mileage out of that decade as possible otherwise they won’t be able to attach themselves to a millionaire that will secure their life of sitting on a couch watching shitty daytime television.
Who needs critical thinking and intelligence when you can be beautiful instead? Maybe just a little knowledge of divorce law. Even if you don’t there’s people that can do that for you as well.
Ok I’m starting to get a little cynical. Don’t get me wrong. Men can be just as terrible if not worse. Likely worse, as women have little sway in the indoctrination ahem um… I mean… uh.. entertainment and media industries.
We all know that women would rather be pretty than smart…because men can see better than they can think.
Yes, he is revelling in the double standard. However he does explain quite clearly a) why he isn’t looking for strong character in lovers and b) why he believes his promiscuity will only raise his value on the marriage market.
