About the dhea I’m menopausal. They’re trying to sort things out with that though.
My dhea-sulfate in 07 was 23.1 mcg\dl.Post menopausal is 20-190.
I’ve been non cycling for well over a year now almost two. On one hand its kind of nice ( no cycle no monthly crankies and ectra) on the other something is very awry.(although apparently not uterine/ovarian awry that checks out)Especially since women in my family don’t normally go sterile until their late 60s or early to mid 70s.
About the cookies yes they work lol but the effects go away when you quit eating them.(pointless for boobies but not why I liked them).
I was just happy to not have mood swings and hot flashes anymore as well as less muscle tension in my back and less migraines. I actually lost a good amount of weight mostly waists and thighs from rollerblading lol and gained cup sizes b-e down to a C now.Bearing in mind I’m hormonally whacked out anyway and I tried them because my sweetie brought them home for me.
You’d have to eat more than the recommended cookie dosage a day to gain weight from them I’d think their caloric level is below a candy bar or a glass of most juices.( They oughta put how many cookies people are supposed to eat on the box I figured out fast if I had more than two I felt puky.)
Why supplements.
I eat fairly healthy most of the time and just recently started looking into supplements. Primarily to support my brain function and nervous system for testing and reporting.
However noticing improvements in other areas tipped me off to the fact that while I eat well. Er I’m missing some things from my normal diet.
Generally with me I’m willing to try something at least or eat more things that have it to see if it helps if it doesn’t then pfeh I won’t touch it.
I’ve always been more fond of healthy foods rather than a lot of refined foods.
Anyway
I was just wondering what everyone else was doing in terms of supplementation because well take a look at a vitamin shelf and there are a billion different brands and things on that shelf.
Lord only knows whats actually going to be good for you.
So I thought I’d ask and see what other people have tried.
I picked up a one daily iron free multi\essential from the grocery store the other night.Nothing over 100% something about 16k % of a vitamin even if its “a safe vitamin” bugs me.
So its just the calcium\vit d\vit k choclate chews a one a day and the efa which I generally only take a few times a week or my hair gets majorly oily.
