Pheromones have ruined my life

Oh. I did think you meant drinking it but this doesn’t make much more sense either. I’ve used gels and sprays for most of my life since I was a teen and I’m sure all contained lots of alcohol. Hell, I was a goth with totally absurd hair do back in the 80’s ( I’d point and laugh if I stepped into some time wormhole and bumped into the younger me), so my head was soaked with alcohol, from within and without.

I still have full growth, so I’m not sure about alcohol causing any particular damage.

Well, to the hair that is. My liver could be a sordid sight. Lucky it’s on the inside so I don’t have to see it.

“The liver. Can’t live without it, hence the name”, to quote Dr. House.

I suffered the designed positive effects to most pheromones I’ve taken and would rather attribute them to the placebo effect of reading the forum first than any side effects. The minor side effects I experienced with each pheromone - self effect and on others - was at least equal to their positive effects.

I will list the effects of some pheromones I took. Note the negative effects increased and the positive decreased the longer I used them.

A314 - Self: confident, assertive, then always fading into abad mood. Others: respect, intimidation, and that’s before the bad mood

Ammo - Self: excited, sometimes nervous. Others: more sexually attractive, sometimes ‘too sexual’ intimidating younger girls giving off a playa vibe

IH - Self: literally made me stupid, I couldnt work out basic tasks and struggled to drive. Others: told me more personal things and seemed at ease with me, maybe I appeared ‘too close’ to some girls who became disinterested after I wore it

IO - Self: made me less afraid of consequences. I stole from a shop whilst wearing this for the only time in my life, plus other out of charactor things. Others: I only noticed more men being friendly

TAK - Self: Relaxing. I would use it as a sleep aid. Another one not to wear whilst driving, yet no warnings are given. After a year of use I noticed it gave me chronic pins and needles to the point I would wake up with a limp arm. Very worrying. Others: non noted.

IJ - Self: I used to love how it made me so uninhibited. It made me too aggressive socially so I’d mix it with IG. Very good for the gym. Not so good for driving unless you want to kill yourself or have road rage. Obviously it increases testosterone which increases DHT which increases hairloss if you are susceptable to it. Others: more stand-off’ish, but probably due to my own presence.

IG - Self: Made me feel cool, calm, and confortable. Worked well with IJ. Also noted increased hairloss, so must increase DHT somehow. Others: no effects noted.

P79 - Self: More focused. Less patient. I wanted and expected people to do what I wanted immediately. Others: non noted.

As you can see my experiences with pheromones had been mixed up until my more recent major side effect. All the positives are what everyone else says yet most of the negatives are different. So what is placebo and what is not? Hmm…

Hey look, no one is doubting these reactions are happening to you. Like you say, if 1 person dies from E, that person dies from E and it happened. If you have an adverse reaction, you have an adverse reaction which is unique to your experience.

There’s enough knowledge of pheromones. You are the outlier when it comes to this unfortunately. That 1 person who dies from E is the outlier. There’s always an outlier.

People can will themselves not to sleep for a number of days. This happened to my old college roommate. I told him “dammit fucker, go to bed already.” He claimed paper turtles were going to rule the world. And just like people who can will themselves to stay awake, people’s brains prevent them from sleeping. It’s called insomnia. Unfortunately your insomnia seems to be connected to synthetic pheromone usage while nearly all of us are not affected in the same way.

Nose sensitivity also is likely not a factor. Sensitivity generally refers to your ability to sniff something out, but I think it’s your chemical make up which is affecting your reactions.

Get rid of the pheromones, they seem to be causing you more harm than what they intended to do.

A lot of what you’re doing seems to be in your lack of self control too. While headaches are not in your control, you always have control of how you choose to react to something. Something may impair you (IJ) but then maybe that’s a signal that you shouldn’t use it. Alcohol can make you more social, but too much will impair judgment and motor skills. You wouldn’t drink and drive because of that, so why would you wear IJ if you know it causes road rage?

Make smart choices.

Ok, You have Stated that You have Used Pheromones for YEARS… The Issues You are Having are NEW… The Pheromones Didn’t Change… That Means that there is an Outside Element that is Triggering this Reaction… It Could be One or More of Several Things… Look Back at What Changed for You Just Prior to the Issues You are Having… New Stress, Diet Change, New Job, Family Issues, Relationship Issues… Any Number of Things…

no, it’s quite possible neurological symptoms develop over time. slowly but surely, just like heart disease, cancer and the like.

True, but his Issue was Onset Very Rapidly not Built Up Over Time… That is By his Own Description… He was Fine until the IJ Spill… That was what I Used as My Logic in the Post…

Breathe using your mouth from now on, stops smell induced VNO destruction.

u should sell your mones

Regarding alchohol. I’d actually forgot that since the IJ incident alchohol no longer ‘works’. A quarter of a can gave me a chronic headache and stopped me sleeping for a day (after my sleep had improved) and valerian root and sleeping tablets also give me a headache instead of making me tired. It’s like the part of my brain supposed to release relaxing chemicals has now broken

I’m pretty sure no one here can do anything for you. Get professional help.

Bash me, hate me, dismiss what I’m saying as BS, whatever. This whole thing sounds like acute onset anxiety attacks.

  1. I am not a doctor, but I know a thing or two about this specific topic from personal experiences.
  2. I am not saying you’re crazy.

The headaches, the heightened senses, the inability to breathe. . .sounds like a panic attack. (No they don’t always raise your pulse)

A family member of mine had acute onset of anxiety attacks brought on by. . .
use of illicit substances. . . (He mentally knew that HE thought what he was doing was “wrong” and his psyche manifested the symptoms to prove it. . .he openly admits that was what happened. . .) This sounds VERY similar to what you’ve dealt with.

Yes - I don’t want to bump a thread from a few months back as it turned pretty nasty and ended-up in bannings etc but there are similar things between the OPs of both and it became very obvious that the guy who started that one had maybe similar issues and needed to take care of himself badly.

:frowning:

Hey guys.. listen i didnt think this guy was right in the begining i thought he had mental problems but i now think what he is saying is completely true. Heres why, i had put 5 sprays of IS one day and since it sometimes carries out in the next day(i had forgoten this) i put two more sprays the next day and i got a small headache for like 3 seconds then it went away… i have a feeling what this guy is saying is true. Now what i think is this happened because he simply was exposed to TOO MUCH pheromones being comparable to a very high dose with what hapened with the IJ spill. I am not saying pheromone products are dangerous(UNLESS you put a ridiculously high amount of it on you. I am curious to see what data there is about high doses of pheromones if there is any…

I think there’s no doubt pheromones used in normal amounts can be classed as dangerous. IJ, TAK and IH definately make driving significantly more dangerous. There’s no research into heavy prolongued dosages of pheromones and their potentially major long term side effects. The medical community dont even think they work and the makers have no reason to do such research.

I’ve driven wearing several different kinds of mones. I’ve even driven with 3 spr of IJ and never felt any road rage. Is it possible your problems are caused by mones? Is it probable your problems are caused by mones?
Possible. Yes
Probable. No
It sounds more like hypochondria or some type of psychosomatic illness.

I’m not trying to be mean but you seriously need mental help.

Other than eons of years of mammal reproduction…

I think that you’re either convincing yourself of this, or you’re trolling.

Reason for the latter is that we had someone with similar ‘reactions’ a while back and said individual was obviously trying to cause a ‘ruckus’, not to mention the occasional site attacks by the ‘TFL’ community.

Regardless, if pheromones ‘used in normal amounts’ were dangerous, you’d have been experiencing these effects since your conception as the hormones that you produce are going to be identical to the ones in the bottles - minus the fact that the bottled mones are more concentrated and are more clean - ie no urine or sweat to carry them.

Correction: Those mones seem to have that effect on YOU. Along with several reactions that can only be mentally-self-influenced in nature (ie claiming that IJ made you STEAL SOMETHING???) and though IJ has been known to have self effects of cocky aggression, you still have to take some self-responsibility and use your logic…When you finish a workout at the gym, do you want to go steal something then too? because you’re producing a lot of enone from your own body, at the time.

Next, you mention all of these effects but then say ‘the medical community don’t even think they work’ which is incorrect - if you’d did your research on reports, you’d know for a fact that there are a number of now known active human pheromones that have been discovered in recent years…however IJ is not going to have an effect on you for months as enone doesn’t last that long, NOR will it make your nose hypersensitive…

So assuming that you’re NOT trolling the forum, I’d say that you’re in need of some therapy, and I say that with sincere intent. And of course, if you’re that worried about the mones, call androtics about returning them.

Take care of yourself.

I didnt day IJ ‘made me’ steal something, I said IO inhibited me thinking about consequences of actions, just enough for me do something out of charactor. That would be a negative side effect particular to me. It doesnt mean it’s not true, everyone is different. IJ is SUPPOSED to make you more aggressive and confident. In the confines of an enclosed space (a car) the pheromone inhalation would be applified. All I can say is I used to love IJ for it’s designed effects, but those designed effects made me a more dangerous driver. TAK is SUPPOSED to make you feel tired. It’s foolish to say driving with a substance on making you articially tired is anything but dangerous. The IH side effect of slowing down my thinking ability was rare, but a few people said they experienced a similar thing (after I said it) and a few more posters offered reasons as to why. The arguement that we naturally have pheromones so they are safe is flawed. We naturally have testosterone and growth hormone but when we are given unnatural amounts of these then bad things can happen, just as when we inhale highly unnatural amounts of artificial pheromones it may cause side effects. You cannot be playing with nature and expect only good things to happen.

Bottom line…

Pheromones dont agree with you. Get rid of them and stop using them.

99% of the users dont have these effects. You just happen to be in the 1% group

The mild headache with Ishine for instance is no different then what caffeine does to the body. Once you adjust to caffeine it go’s away but there are some people who just cant handle caffeine and have to avoid it.

Detox like I told you and if that doesn’t work see your doctor. Keep in mind as it of the terms and conditions posted on AD.

For those new members reading this post.

Ultimates reaction is highly unusual. Some of what he has described science has never seen happen with pheromones neither natural nor synthetic. For every one person who has some sort of adverse reaction there are thousands of people who use mones daily who dont, much like any other allergy

In my opinion these symptoms point to a combination of allergic reaction to scents and and emotional reaction to symptoms much like an anxiety attack coupled with a lack of understanding for pheromones.

Fragrance Allergies: A Sensory Assault

It is not that I am doubting his experience. I just dont want members to be afraid of something because of one persons adverse reactions. It would be like being afraid of aspirin because 5% of the population is allergic to it.

The sense of smell institute has been conducting studies and tracking studies on our sense of smell and its effect for years including pheromones. Its a good resource to use as well as pub med. There are tons of other resources out there as well. Do your due diligence.

I like how you suggest it would be an allergic reaction to scents which are designed to smell nice rather than pheromones which are specifically designed to alter peoples brain chemicals, and as a result influence thinking, feelings, emotions and actions. Thank you for your advice to not use pheromones anymore, like I still would be given my situation. Your little meaningless get out clause doesnt excuse the fact you dont give specific warnings on products intended to change mood, nevermind unknown side effects through selling unresearched products. Your customers are human guinea pigs. If they experience positive results you value them yet when they experience negative results they must be mistaken, misguided, lying or mad.
