“they are cleaned up, synthetic versions of the same chemical pheromone signals that practically every mammal on this planet (including the good ole ‘great apes’ of which we are a part) has used since the beginning of mammalian existance”
I dont know what ‘cleaned up’ is supposed to mean. It impies it’s harmless.
Synthetic growth hormone = dangerous
Synthetic testosterone = dangerous
Synthetic pheromone = supposedly ‘completely safe of any side effects based on a few people on a forum taking them’
I dont see how they are ‘the same’ as natural pheromones, and even if they are ‘the same’ they must be in unnaturally high amounts (for even one spray) to have the desired effects which we all know they do have.
I read her stuff. She seems to know a disturbingly large amount of things about pheromones for a women who doesnt sell them. She be able to blind you with science, and almost baffled me with semantics, but this isnt a debate to win or lose on word play. I know my own situation and how it occured. It’s an MCS type condition triggered by prologued use and an eventual over-dose of pheromones. Man made pheromones that create effects (good and bad) in an artificial way to degrees which we do not experience from normal human pheromones. Also, if they are copies of known human pheromones then why do we have putatives that they admit they dont know what they are, or what they do, and use us a human ginea pigs? If these putatives are NOT pheromones, then what are they, drugs? Is spaceland a pheromone or a drug-like substance? I would suggest it is a drug like substance since I have never got a mild high from sniffing someone
Growth hormone can be dangerous when not strictly administered by a dr for it’s intended purpose. Side effects of use otherwise (ie bodybuilding) are enlarged internal organs and increased growth of undetected cancer and tumors. Testosterone is well known to increase aggression and diminishef thinking leading to, in extreme cases, murder. Are you being prescribed pheromones by a dr to solve a medical problem or are you playing around with them in a similar way to recreational drugs with unknown side effects? I’d suggest the latter
Lol, the longer these posts go on the more i think hes trolling… honestly im actually laughing reading this guys posts now. Even if it is true, chemical sensitivity thing is super rare AND can problably be triggered by MANY things(not just pheromones like the OP said).
Wrong again. You stated that synthetics of both chemicals were dangerous. Now you’ve changed it to abusing chemicals is dangerous. Synthetic hgh came from the fact that hgh recovered from cadavers caused cancer. Testosterone actually increases mental focus and there are no cases of it causing people to commit murder. Nice trolling though.
Taking any synthetic copy of a natural substance your body doesnt actual need is abuse. Do you NEED artificial pheromones, or are you using them with blind hope you dont get side effects.
The fact that MCS is rare doesnt mean I havent got it, and the fact it can be triggered by many things doesnt mean pheromones didnt trigger it. I’d say I am in a better position to state what condition I have and what triggered it than you. “It’s rare so you dont have it” doesnt quite work as an arguement.
The simple fact that the link you provided states that MCS can be caused by perfumes, but you opt to ignore this little fact and jump straight to pheromones as the cause of your problems is laughable.
If that was the case then all of the natural herbals that people take would be ‘abuse’.
Last I checked, taking ‘Flinstones Vitamins’ wasn’t abusing drugs - it was supplimentation.
Not prescribed by a doctor, but certainly not abuse… it’s more along the lines of life improvement.
I’m sure that you’re going to argue with me til you’re at your wits end (as I said in the beginning, I suspect you may be trolling and one of the TFL people, but regardless,) no one puts a gun to your head to be here, to take pheromones, or anything else related…just like no one puts a gun to someone’s head to go to the store and buy an lab created vitamin supplement.
Next, we have the matter of MCS. If you’re so convinced that you have it (and as I’ve said before, self-diagnosis is a big no-no per MD’s,) go to a specialist and have it checked out. If you have it, at least you’ll know.
However, blaming it on pheromones is ridiculous as it sounds like you are looking for a scapegoat for your (alleged, self-diagnosed!!!) condition, and per you, anyone that disagrees with you be damned, even if they have 100 times the knowledge about pheromones than you do. Do you go to a history teacher and argue with them that the British won the Revolutionary War?
Of course not!
So sit back, take a breather, and chill for a moment, plzkthx.
re Multiple chemical sensitivity:
It’s not a recognized diagnose because in double-blind trials persons who believe they have MCS react as badly to placebo as they do to the chemical that’s supposed to trigger their problems. It is on the same level as Electromagnetic hypersensitivity: the symptoms are very real but the claimed reason for the symptoms are not likely the real reason. People with EHS often try to sanitize their lives from electromagnetical fields and many have less problems then. This is a real relief and not to be belittled, but the effect is that of a placebo: real but the mechanism is psychological, not physiological. It is akin to faith-healing (at least from an atheist point of view).
I was really reluctant to post this first. Relief via placebo effect can be real relief in these cases. (I actually think that one might argue that many kinds of psycho-therapy utilizes the underlying mechanisms of the placebo effect in a conscious and controlled manner. However, I do not know if psycho-therapy has been used to help persons believing to have MCS or EHS on any scale meaningful to draw conclusions from, nor what effects it had if it has been used.) I do believe that Ultimate may get some relief from acting as if he/she has MCS as it is described, just as people believing to suffer from EHS gets some relief from the same course of action. But I think that the more people who has correct info on these matters may help more people in the long run.

Ultimate I feel very bad what is happening to you, I have prayed for you, I hope you recover soon, what your doing is great as your researching for a solution, keep at it and you will continue to find answers, if your problem is neurological than it would be a good idea to see a neurological specialist. You may also want to join forums with people having same symptoms as you.
I hope everyone here can be more supportive as he’s already going through a lot. Ultimate see if water humidifiers or sleep apnea machines might your sleeping problem. Also do your research with an open mind, you never know what the problem may be, also check to see if you have any sort of depression.
I know exactly what I have and what caused it, it just eases me that I’ve found a label for it and see that other people get accused of imagining the symtoms to. For the one report that discredits MCS there are others that support it. There is a report that show MCS sufferers have less bloodflow to the brain all the time and it was shown to decrease further with exposure to chemicals.
Again, having hormone treatment from a dr obviously isnt abuse. Stupid response.
Are you THAT dumb? The definition of MCS is that an initial over-exposure to a substance triggers your immune system into having negative reactions to other, unrated, substances. When I removed myself from traces of pheromones I didnt get the effects related to pheromones. I now get effects from other things.
It’s amazing that it clearly states that once the irritant is removed symptons improve, yet he has altered the definition of a self diagnosed condition to fit his psychosis.
