also I picked up recently Bond Riverside drive which i really like
lol, you made me buy himalaya, now you’re going to make me buy that too? Where did you get the Bond no. 9 and how much and what size? I have Green Irish Tweed. Spring is definitely a good time to kick some ass with the fragrances. I’m declaring WWIII. All is fair in love and war and I’m going with nonconventional warfare including the kitchen sink.
actually i got a superb deal with bond riverside drive…on ebay some guy been selling 15 1.7 ml samples so i bid on them and won the deal for $10..no one else bid on at the time, he seems to have an endless supply of them
so I bought a 1 oz atomizer and poured all of the samples in and got myself a 25 ml bottle of riverside drive for $10 + $3 for the glass bottle atomizer
you cannot beat that deal
wow, that is a great buy. .85 ounce bottle for $10. was the shipping including? if you did it twice, it would be 1.7 ounce bottle for $20. great idea.
i forgot shipping was 3.99 still a great deal in fact the guy is still selling the 15 samples
I tried to do it again, but this time someone bid and it got to $20 so I did not keep up the bidding

yes i did, you know me. i ordered 30 viles from the guy for $24 with the shipping included. i just need a 1.7 oz bottle now with atomizer.
btw i cannot stand Bond Wall St. I just resampled it today from my sample…and it smells like I am wearing cucumbers…yuck..

Hey guys have any of you tried the scents from tiger flag? I just got a few of them today and I really, really liked them. I thought they would be initially very strong like the musk you buy from qt-store (good, but a bit strong for me), but they are actually quite nice and come in small roll on bottles.
I think winter from them could work also as a good spriing fragrance, but they have a lot of florals that could work for spring too. Right now I only have their sahara (also very good) and their chipre, both are pretty good. Just wondering if anyone else has smelled these.
My spring fragrance however will probably be green irish tweed or amouage ciel (I have a sample of it), but since I like to wear a large variety I’ll definitely incorporate the madini oils too.
i never heard of tiger flag until now not really sure
btw i stopped off at bond store and got to try Brooklyn, I did not like it, was way too light though is great for summer, but starts off with grapefruit which i am not a fan of, and then goes into a woody drydown, reminds me of gucci ph, nothing special
i received my order of riverside drive. to me the initial scent reminds me of faconnable or was it Alviero Martini “Uomo”? this is a very very good scent. once again denec hasn’t let me down. thanks, you da man! i think i like this more than green irish tweed. i paid $60 something dollars for 1 ounce of that stuff. 
I hadn’t heard of tigerflag until recently either, it was a nice surprise. Maybe not for everyone, but they are inexpensive and have a good selection.
if you know how to shop around you can get the best colognes out there for a great price.
example 1.7 oz bottle of bond no. 9 riverside drive for $135 at saks 5th ave. but with denec’s advice i got it for a grand total of $24. great scent and nobody can say it is not worth the $24.
Tigerflag is not a retailer of designer perfumes though, it sells I think their own and also madini scents, which I think are produced in morocco. They are more in the style of attars, although the madini scents are much lighter and almost like a regular cologne that you roll on.
I think I found the guy. This is definitely worth a shot at winning. I’ll wait till he posts some more as the round has a bid already.
