The "Mystery Method" by Mystery Lovedrop and "Without Embarassment" by Mike Pilinski

I have just talked to Steve on the phone through the hotline service, and he has offered me many helpful tips and insights on how better to go about getting hits, when to notice them, how to carry yourself around women, different amounts of each products to use, and what products are excellent for various situation. For this Steve, I thank you greatly and is much appreciated. He recommended I check a book called “Mystery Method”, and I also have seen many replies on “Without Embarassment” as well. These are 2 “how to” books by 2 different pick up artists, and their insights about picking up ladies etc. If you have read these books or heard about them, then please post on here and tell all of us some great knowledge and what you think of these 2 great reads. Thank you loads for your help.

Books? Who needs books to get a girl? Seriously, although many would beg to differ, a book is not needed. Plus, I know you don’t need a book, since you’ve mentioned having a girl in mind already. Plus, you’ve also mentioned that girls always say you’re attractive (plus you have gotten hits already.) What else do you need? Sounds like you’re good to go to me, so save your money and don’t worry about books. Just use Steve’s advice and pheromones and that’s it. If it isn’t broke don’t fix it, only someone who REALLY needs help should read up on some social info. You don’t seem to fall into that category from what you’ve been posting.

Well, at least he’s studying. Don’t discourage it! As it is, the USA college graduation rate of males is much lower than females (grad school is even worse). We need more men willing to study or in a couple generations men will be the underclass with women holding all the good jobs and positions of power. So, studying how to get laid is a good place to start. It helps build good study habits and associates study with sexual rewards. Next stop: biology and econ…

Maybe the Mystery Method works for Steve. I personally don’t like that canned routine stuff, but I can recommend Vin DiCarlo’s The Attraction Code, www.attractioncodebook.com (Full disclosure: I’m a moderator at the forums for Vin’s company, www.vindicarlo.com. I’m not paid for it or anything, I’m just a fan of Vin’s work.)

Mikotorocks has a good point: the only way to get better is to get out there and take action. Steve is right too: you need to have some kind of structure and plan. Some structures are much better than others, but for her to be swept off her feet and have the seduction “just happen”, you have to have a plan. Study, but one hour of reading should be balanced by a couple of hours of “field time”.

LOL, I don’t now Gegogi, where I come from “mating” is just a part of life. No studying needed! Ha, ha but like I said, some just need it more than others, and by that I mean tips. Curling up with a good read is always great of course, plus by reading those type of books at least you do get to kind of get in the head of other males since I’m sure they’re also following those same step by step instructions as well to get with girls. So it then gives you the advantage of being unique by thinking of how to do things YOUR way. So I guess yes, maybe you reading those books will be a good idea. But just imagine how many other guys are out there doing the same thing? Well, I haven’t read those books so I don’t know what’s in there exactly. I guess all I’m saying is to just be confident, don’t fear rejection, and don’t let the girls get the best of you. Get the best of them! Er, if that makes any sense…

Mystery Method is more of a linear method, a step by step process from meeting a woman up to create a sexual relationship with her. It is basically explained in depth in the book called ‘The Game’ by Neil Strauss. The book ‘Mystery Method’ by Erik Von Markovik is more detailed version of the steps in itself with all the canned materials and gambits used in ‘The Game’. Michael Pilinski’s books are more to strenghten your Inner Game and boost your confidence in which IMO would be enough to get you started approaching women.

IMHO, if you are thinking to get ‘The Mystery method’, you might as well apply for the bootcamps. I know it’s incredibly expensive, but you will be pushed outside your comfort zone and after that weekend you will feel much more comfortable talking to women.

I have read many books from The Game, Rules of the Game, Mystery Method, Influence: The psychology of Persuasion, Introduction to NLP, The Red Queen, Mastering Your Hidden Self. Honestly, I am intrigue by the human psychology and that’s the main reason I get into this stuff.

If you have any questions, you are welcome to ask me.

Cheers.

revivia, what I recommended to you was the DYD mail bag you could find for free on mASF David DeAngelo’s Double Your Dating Mailbag

You asked which of the two I thought better and I never read Mike’s stuff, so I could not comment on it fairly. I recommended David D because IMHO I still think that would be the best place for you to start. I mentioned that the Mystery Method is a book you can get at any bookstore (just about) and will offer you structure.

I can only provide feedback on the level of the call itself and not unknown variables

As pointed out you absolutely need to take action, but just make sure you are taking the right action. There is nothing wrong with reading and studying and I encourage it. I’ve seen a lot of guys go out into the field with no guides and fail miserably and never have a clue why. Get yourself that guide, learn what direction to take and then take it. Practice everywhere you go, don’t be needy or seek validation, just go out there and give it your 100%. It will happen in time and time my friend is always on the confident mans side.

I’ve read dozens of these books and these (The “Mystery Method” by Mystery Lovedrop and “Without Embarassment” by Mike Pilinski) are two of the best, if not the two best. I especially liked Pilinski’s book – it took a different approach than the others. I especially liked how he delineated what men and women need from a relationship. They have different needs! How many times have we been told, “Relax, she wants the same thing you do”? Well, no she doesnt!!

I also like Robert Greene’s The Art of Seduction. It is long and academic. And it is the only book in my life that I have read cover-to-cover four times.

Dennis Neder’s Being a Man in a Woman’s World is good just for his brief discussion of “The Test”.

R. Don Steele’s Body Language Secrets is probably as good as you’re gonna get on body language.

David Deida’s The Way of the Superior Man is spiritual and relevant – again, a very different perspective. And worth the read.

Well I’ve read Mike Pilinksi’s book Without Embarrassment and would rate it high. It was my first book by an online pick-up artist. Hmm in retrospect of all of the books I have read I would HIGHLY recommend the Dating Black Book by Carlos Xuma. I’ve purchased most of his products up to a certain point, and even attended one of his in-person seminars in the field. He will definitely give you the correct skeleton to hang your customized game on. It’s all about choosing the right weapon for the right target at the right time. I consider him the foremost expert on the Art of Attraction.

As far as what I got out of Mike Pilinki’s book, I learned there is NOTHING to be ashamed of for desiring women to accompany you. I learned a handshake that when pulled off correctly definitely gets the women’s attention. There are some basic outer game, and some inner game principles covered, but again not my first choice as when I learned later from my own experience, some of his ideas aren’t exactly what I found to be best. I am also currently studying Mystery’s Venusian Arts Handbook.

Hope this helps.

Dating Black Book by Carlos Xuma

Hey I heard of another supposedly good read by another pick up artist called the Dating Black Book by Carlos Xuma. If anyone has read this book, please tell me and the rest of the Pherotalk community more about this book. Thanks greatly.

Yeah, I DL’d his ebook pack from…rrent..REALLY good stuff..if you’re not accustomed to talking to females, or are getting back out there like me, they’re some good reads.

I will eventually buy them, just out of support(I do that w/ music and movies too). I’m willing to pay for quality(HINT HINT SMARTMONES)..
