Quite interesting post overall, as I normally would rather not be so blunt in regards to any faint hint of hypocrisy on this or any board, since hypocrisy is, if you can imagine, nothing but a beast with blatant horns thats fallen out of its own tree.
When in actuality, those horns are slightly cracking through our own stratum corneum, still hidden by the hair follicles that manifest in accordance to our own metaphysical reality. Meaning, there’s hypocrisy in all of us, since it isn’t an intrinsic property. So even though you stole the thoughts and opinions right out of my mind in regards to what is and isn’t justice towards the posters in this thread, diplomacy doesn’t prevail when paired against certain realities which are practiced with obscurantism by nearly all human beings (which in this case, is hypocrisy). The only thing that results is a strut of ‘who gets the last word’, never will it be the realization of the wrong doings that any one poster has done, as you will notice is exactly the case with this thread itself.
The reason I even say any of this, is because hypocrisy in most cases is in the eye of the on-looker, making it a perception more than anything else; again lacking an intrinsic property. So the point of the whole horn with beasts analogy in all of us, is simply that if you look at anything in a certain way, it can always one way or another be perceived as hypocrisy. And even though I believe NMJ was in the wrong in regards to the name calling, I also believe it isn’t justice to label it as hypocriticism. There are too many factors in everyone’s own individualized reality, to perceive certain words and actions as being ‘hypocritical’. So even though she couldn’t say it in words, and mistakenly pulled out the I’m a female I’m misunderstood card (silly NMJ), I do understand what she is trying to say in terms of being misunderstood. We don’t know the realities and all the factors and facets of her situation in her ‘HOLY SH!T GOTTA READ THIS’ thread, so its unfair to associate her own existentialist(I guess if you can even call it that?) realities with her perception of what is and isn’t wrong about benny’s original post. Hypocrisy is anything but black and white, even in most cultures it is believed to be a gray area that can’t be judged by anyone except by one’s deity, Himself.
Don’t get me wrong, as I’ve stated I initially had the same thoughts and opinions as you’ve already posted as to what justice and injustice has been done, but that’s only if you look at the situation superficially. And I was tempted to make a post that would’ve been extremely similar to yours even before you had posted, but again its counter diplomacy to jump so quick. And just like everything else in life, for every one perception we draw from looking at the surface of a situation, there are 10 different variables underneath that surface which distort and change reality.
To make a long story short; I don’t believe that the slight bashing of NMJ, for more than she’s actually done, is warranted.. this doesn’t change the fact that I do strongly believe that NMJ still owes benny an apology via pm for her harsh words, especially since benny is a new user and it may be harder for him to correctly word his experiences. No one on this board deserves to be discouraged from returning by being bashed or judged for their own experiences, since they come here in the first place for advice on how to make pheromones more effective, not on how to act as a human being.
