Hey guys!
I’m not sure if this has been done earlier - if it’s already been discussed to death forgive me… ![]()
I guess we all can agree that different people have a different pheromone signature. One of the most interesting parts of this signature is the amount of Androstenone that you produce naturally. Androstenone is that one pheromone that’s the hardest to handle for most people, because it’s one of the few you can easily overdose - with possible unpleasant results.
In this thread I’d want to find a way to say if you are already producing lots of androstenone on your own. That might give youngsters a good clue if they OD easily and should be a little more cautious.
Androstenone is a metabolit of Testosterone. So obviously the amount of naturally produced Androstenone is directly dependend on the amount of Testosterone that you produce. So how can you tell if you have a high level of testosterone (and therefore a high level of androstenone)?
- lots of body and facial hair is an indicator of a high testosterone level
- if you gain muscle fast when lifting weight you are probably high on testosterone
- working out (especially weight lifting) raises the production of testosterone
- different ethnicities have (mostly) different testosterone levels - asians are said to be low in -none (and I’ve never seen an asian with lots of body hair
). black men on the other hand often have relatively high testosterone level. caucasians are probably in between (or maybe up there with the black men? not sure)
There may be more ways to tell, but I’m not sure if they are valid:
- early loss of hair on your head might indicate high testosterone. the hair loss is directly linked to DHT (DiHydroxyTestosterone), a highly active metabolit of testosterone.
- a deep voice might hint to high testosterone levels (not sure with this, but it’s been shown that women who take Testosterone injections get a deeper voice)
So if you give yourself 1 point for every positive item on the first list, you will find your probability of having a high androstenone output. As an example here’s this list for myself:
- I have been growing a beard very early and have lots of body hair (yes, I’m a bear) -> 1 point
- I’m in the gym several times a week lifting weight (or at least I should be) -> 1 point
- I’m gaining muscle fast, even while cutting -> 1 point
- I’m caucasian -> eerrmm 0.5 points (or maybe even 1, not sure here)
So that gives me 3.5 of 4 points - I’m surely a natural androstenone monster! Additionally I’ve started losing hair very early, so this might be another hint. And all in all it reflects the experience I’ve had with products high in -none: I’ve never been able to wear even a single drop of NPA or A7 without bad effects.
I hope this helps a little. Feel free to comment/correct/add.
