I like to take advantage of Subway’s diversity, I always change it up.
My two favorites though, are:
when Subway still had the Orchard Chicken Salad. that was fantastic
and
their Cheddar-Broccoli soup, awww yeah!
Salad LOL There is gluten in the bread and cold cuts. If I eat to much gluten I puff up and feel bloated and blaaa.
When I say F-it and go for the bloat I like the chicken teriyaki, with onions on whole wheat or a veggie delight but I know I will regret it later.
I only go there maybe a few times a year though. I tend to stick to the organic health food places we have around town. I love a broccoli, cauliflower on a GF wrap with sprouts and feta cheese will some sesame and carrot sticks on the side. Yummy ![]()

Meatball on Parmesan Oregano with bacon, extra pepper-jack cheese, and parmesan cheese for good measure. THATS IT!!! ALL meat and cheese for me!!!
Depends on my situation but I have two staples:
-
Footlong Subway Club on wheat. American cheese. Lettuce, a ton of spinach, yellow peppers, pickles and a lot of olives. Pepper and mustard.
-
Footlong chicken breast on wheat. American cheese. Spinach and a lot of olives. One squirt of mayo. This is generally the one I’ll get if I know I’m hitting the gym in about an hour.
My gosh that thing is disgusting.
Not to say that I’ve never had it, but disgusting nonetheless lol
I honestly think I’m the only one who eats the meatballs at my local subway ![]()
I’ve never eaten at Subway. The last time I had to eat fast food was on a road trip. There weren’t a lotta choices out in the boonies so it was someplace like McDonald’s or Burger Belch.
Can’t remember, best to forget, lol.
Though from what I’ve heard, as far as convenience foods go, Subway sandwiches aren’t that bad. ![]()
'Cept for the one you mentioned GorMas. That sounds like a lead torpedo…on a roll! ![]()

Just so you know they are not really meat just fillers. Same at taco bell (gag) with the taco meat. Ever wonder why the chicken in fast food places or even boxed chicken in the supermarket is sort of chewy (gag) its because they inject it will fillers.
You dont digest and expel fillers easy. They settle in your fat cells filling them up and making you look fuller.

Ok well thank you for that, never going to eat fast food, ever, again now.
I do Weight Watchers and there are some ok things to get at subway (though I haven’t eaten any of them in 5 or so years) I’m all about the quality/ quantity of food I can get with my points, and for the same points as a subway sammich I can have 1/2 of a restaurant order of Pad Thai (quite a bit of food) or 2 chicken enchiladas with beans and rice. . . .tell me why I’d eat the sandwich?
First off I didn’t realize just how many of you live in NYC. WOW you should all have a meet-up ![]()
Second I usually either get tokens or a Metro card. The all day passes are great if you have lots to do.
OK I’m being silly
I get foot long Italian Herb and Cheese, Meatball with provolone, bacon, salami, black olives. I think if GoMars was a chick I’d be in love right now. I thought I was the only one crazy enough to eat that crap. As per Tisha - Fillers are just simply delicious ![]()
HAHA, now I want subway…too bad its not on the lose weight seduce the women of the world diet ![]()
Ok, we have to meet up! I love Thai!
Subway is actually ok for a quick calorie injection but as for all the other fast food chains, I won’t go near them. I still remember getting sick after eating McD after a couple years of kicking all that stuff to the curb. That one incident was enough to tell me I was on the right track.
