Hey everyone, thought i should say hi and give you a clue of who i am.
I am 25 year old, 5’10" 195lbs male. I am a Journeyman Carpenter/Scaffolder, i love doing anything that is hands on. So chose to be a carpenter, i have been in this profession for about 6 years now. Worked my way up the ladder and now i am a foreman.
A foreman is a person who is in charge of up to 12 people. My job is to put everyone is crews of 3 depending on their ability. Pretty much to make it fair to everyone and not have one really great crew while the other crews are just a whatever crew. The age varies from 20-55, with only 2 of them being in late twenties and the rest being old enough to be my dad. I have been the foreman of this crew for the last 7 months, had lots of ups and a whole lot of downs lol. When i got the promotion i was really over whelmed and it was really hectic to earn everyones respect. Especially with the ones that were older and than i was. But every good thing always comes to an end.
I recently got transferred to a different site with new workers and a new boss. I stayed a foreman and got assigned 12 workers, all of them are stubborn. There are 4 girls in late 20 and early 30 on my crew. They listen and get the job done, but they get it done their way which is so much more harder and longer than the way i suggested. The other guys are always slacking off and just do enough so i can’t get mad or i won’t be happy lol.
So all that leads to my question…What is good for work place respect? I can earn their respect regardless in due time that is. But just looking for something to pretty much help in the process rather than just me mind fucking my workers. (excuse my language) I have been thinking of purchasing A314 and instant shine.

You already seem to know much about A314. Yes, that is a great phero for your job. It would help you seem like a dependable leader. Is goes well wtih it. However, I also recommend you look into picking up ih to help with connection and trsut.

Now your situation definitely screams A314 especially from your introduction you don’t seem shy you just need to give off that firmer image some persons need to listen.
You can do some reading on A314 but I think it’s just what you need and my team agrees.
For those times when you need a firm but softer image I will get Instant shine to go with the A314.
I suggest you get a hang of the A314 first to get the point across and after that you can soften it up for a nice working environment.
