I think the problem is when we think of somebody as having one aspect only.. people such as myself tend to be multi-faceted…
that’s what makes us interesting after all..
it’s what we seek in others too…
Consciousness is the key factor… a lot of people do bot-sex, bot-relationships, bot-marriages, and die bot-death, then are buried in a bot-box…
Non-bot-ness is kind of hard to do.
Look hard and most macho poses are just that… poses. The most macho guy on the planet will fold to a bad case of food poisoning. Hard to keep up appearances when you’re barfing your guts out…

If one goes through life like a zombie, unaware of others and their needs (so hurting them in the process), unaware of what you need/want/wish for etc,.. you can expect problems with bot-behaviour… it’s like walking blindfolded in life.
But Bot behavior is also a gift.
Ever do an extremely boring repetitive task? I’d much rather function in “bot mode” than think over every repetition.
Speaking of… Aren’t we a little of topic?
I’m going add my two cents and say the reason that good girls like bad guys is for the following reasons:
- Confidence. Women love confidence.
- Easy. Bad boys are “easy” to pick up and guilt free when they dump them thus bad boys are somewhat convenient.
- Alternative lifestyles -women who are into alternative lifestyles (kinky sex) might find this “type” more into what they are.
Bot behaviour is good for some things like driving etc.
But for other things in life you need to “awaken”… for example realise which direction your life is taking, and decide to do something to change it.. for example with regards to the opposite sex…
No we’re not off topic and even if we were it isn’t a problem here.. we don’t mind the occasional diversion..

Here is possibly one of the most important, yet subtle, and generally misunderstood differences or “distinctions” that sort of, in some mysterious way, indicate a fundamental thing that lies between cool people, vital people, living breathing soul people, and well… hate to say it, but clueless jerks… and having said that, even the most clueless jerk can shape up and become something a lot more compelling…
I believe that there is an ingredient that some would call “unconscious competence” or “unconscious consciousness”… where, even in the most ordinary auto-pilot mode, the autopilot part of the self has some quiet high degree of awareness, versus dumb-machine nature…
Which is what makes some people magical, present, vital and compelling even when they aren’t doing much, making too much effort… I’d also add, from a sobering mythic and therapeutic standpoint, that this magical self quality, when one is least aware, least trying to create an impression (as opposed to poseur wanking) is also deeply envied, and in some ways hated by those who don’t have “it”, and many a child who does have “it” learns early on to disguise or minimize this quality, because it can bring out the damn worst, even in figures like parents… and don’t be so naive as to think that many parents, especially those harboring deep inferiority complexes, aren’t in profound states of destructive, unconscious competition, even with their toddlers…
So this results in a two edged sword relationship with the magical self, if it is there, it is both loved, worshipped to an extent, envied, despised, and feared ?
The explanation is simple, very chimp, very hierarchical… the social order is nice and established and this rare quality shows up, and all of the sudden some who were the focus of affection find themselves “taken of the oxygen”… hence you get the psychologically accurate myths and fairy tales of the vicious elder sisters or the godmother who imprisons her daughter, often in the emotional prison of low self esteem…
So we learn, by instinct I think, to be very careful with this magical self gift, to have it is like having your friends know you just inherited a lot of money, suddenly their friendships take on a diffferent tone, less honest, more probing, an atmosphere of calculation sets in where there was once innocent play…
Because we live in a culture with neurotic fasciantions regarding money, beauty, sexual energy, power, star quality, these often function like strange totems and taboos in primitive societies, we can never bring ourselves to openly say how they actually affect our self images, our deepest thoughts, our dishonest connivings, that is all very taboo, you see…
It is OK to be stylish, go with the flow, ride the wave of some artifice, as long as you’re not TOO perceptive about the way that ego, money, power, sex, and fear are deeply entertwined…
Because it’s easier.
Consciousness takes effort. And, to a large extent, courage. Which is why it’s unpopular.
Yeah, it’s always interesting to see what many of these bad boys do when faced with real crises. Most of the time, you’ll find that the rebel has left the building.

Yep… you’d be amazed and stunned by the people who can deal and those who can’t deal with hard reality… and the explanations, excuses, and rationalizations that soon follow… which brings us to the subject of coping skills… are coping skills sexy ? No, not really… you don’t even notice them, or the lack of them, until something horribly unsexy comes up… in th elong run, the women I’ve ultimately found the sexiest and most attractive have superb coping skills… they are resourceful, they can handle things, they drive well, they don’t whine, they tell the truth…

Bad Boys make the best wingmen -because they attract the attention of women -And then you can deflect the attention onto yourself.
I have had two different roommates who were short, loud and obnoxious “bad boys”. Both were (physically) wimpy when it got down to it but they also somehow scored quite often.
If I ever went out with them -I was getting attention from women when the “bad boy” was shot down.
They make comparing & contrasting easier.
You can be a little bit naughty, but this sounds like a 16 year old girl I used to know. Women that are fertile don’t like this type of man they want someone nurturing strong enough to be gentle and not feel weak. Younger and older women like this type of guy. Fertile women want the perfect man with a warrior/saint polarity. Google triple goddess its an old Irish belief that explains this very well.

so we see that the maiden and the crone do not have to worry about the sperm of an immature male. But the mother wants the perfect child thats why she needs the perfect male, a male that is in physical prime and has good understanding of the universe because sperm take the characteristics of the father at the time. And from my observations the crone and the maiden work for the mother to clear all the unsuitable males from the field showing her their actions and making them emotionally incompatible to her.

I take a lot of philos into consideration. Archetypes are good to gain clarity, I’ve been observing this behavior lately. Jung was really good! I mostly use the tarot as a way of thought it incorporates his ideas but those ideas were here way before him! His rhetoric was a lot less cryptic which made it popular.
