I asked this woman that I like on a date to the bowling alley using the “Office Space” method on this site. I told her if she wants to come thats fine and if not thats fine also. She just wrote back lol thank u on Facebook. The day came and she flaked out on me but I still had fun anyway. She has not contacted me since then. What should I say to her if anything?
I think this is where you went wrong. You gave her permission to turn you down. When you ask a girl out, you need to do so with confidence and decisiveness. When you leave a hint of “you can say no to me if you want” in there, you give a girl the impression that you don’t have faith in your own product. Who is gonna want to buy the goods if the salesman isn’t even convinced?
Secondly, were other people going, too? If so, you didn’t ask her on a date: you invited her along on a group outing. Big difference.
I’m actually quite surprised that you showed up when she didn’t give you a solid answer. She thanked you for the invitation, and left it at that. When a girl gives a non-answer, 99% of the time this is her way of giving a polite “no”. When you ask a girl something important, like for a date, you need to phrase it so that she gives you a “yes or no” answer, not a non-answer. Something like, “so are we on for Friday?” or even, “so is that a yes?”
What should I say to her to let her know I still want to go out with her? Should I ask her again and then ask “are we on for Friday?” or “is that a yes”? It was just going to be me and her. My initial approach was to act like I didn’t care if she showed up or not because I can have a good time without a woman. She also lives in my city so if I run in to her my feeling would be to act like I had a good time without her, and I did. No hard feelings between us. If we do go on a date I was thinking wearing something like Ammo or a simple Ammo combo or maybe even Taboo or ****.
I agree with Miss Dragon. What I got into lately, both with dates and female friends I don’t see often, is to use affirmative statements, rather than questions, when inviting them somewhere. Basically, saying “Hey, come to this place on Friday. It starts at 10. It’ll be fun!” Rather than “Do you want to come to this place on Friday at 10?” And in my experience, anything and everything other than a resounding “yes” is almost always a “no” in disguise.
Unless we’re talking about sex, where no means no, it’s always better to seek forgiveness than permission. “Are we on for Friday?” is perfectly fine. Don’t ask more than that, though. The more you talk before the date, the more doors you open to being flaked out on.
Is this a good message that I sent?
Im going bowling at Frames next month on the 23rd. You should come. I will be there at 3 pm. It will be fun
Then when she answers I will ask are we on for Saturday?
“Office Space”…?
If its someone from online who you have no other connection with, I’d pretty-much ecpect her to flake.
The amount of women who use the likes of FB/other sites simply for attention and continued validation (eg by being asked-out) is very surprising. So you can expect a grat many of them not to follow-through on any date.
I certainly wouldn’t use this as a reason to stop talking to her or ignore her - but I would have keep it at the back of my mind if I’d thoughts on seeing her again - it would be much less of a formal invitation next time and I’d be looking elsewhere for a proper date - and if she flaked, it would be the same thing again with her.
The wording is good. But by saying “next month”, are you referring to May 23? That’s ridiculously far in advance to ask someone out. At best, you won’t get a straight yes/no answer. At worst, you’ll set off a red flag in her head and creep her out. On average, she’ll say yes to be polite, then will tell you she has to wash her hair on the day of.
If you somehow meant April 23, then much better, but still a little too far in advance. Your best bet is to ask her three days to a week prior. Longer is fine only if it’s a “save the date” kind of event, like a concert or a street festival.
I do have a connection with her. She went to my school and she seemed into me but maybe thats because I wearing A314 and Ammo at the time. I dont know. I will just see how it goes. If she gives me an excuse as to why she cant go, I will go anyway and the next time I see her I will say I had a great time and no hard feelings.
I just bought A1 spray with 5 mcg. Hopefully that will help. I have heard that it can create a fallout effect with repeated use. That is what I want.
A1 is in a bit of a class of its own compared to the other fallout pheros.
Ensure you read K-Train’s A1 guide and the A1 Mix Repository threads and do some testing a t just one spray standalone before you take it out in anger!
