The girls are between 18-30 I guess. I do not have a preferred age to be honest, I find a lot of different ages and types attractive.
I’ll drop the cops for now. I am not cungruent with the ‘recently got laid’ attitude anyway. Your suggestions are all single strenght applications?
I can be funny as hell, but not so much with women I am attracted to. I tend to get in a serious mood. Not good, I know. I kinda teased her a bit about her messing up her phone like that. She was kinda protective of the device, and she left after maybe 3 minutes, when her friend walked along.
Now I think about it. When I came out and placed myself close to her. I pulled my phone out first. I had an incoming text or e-mail. Maybe she was mirroring? She was sitting and her feet were not towards me. Standing directly in front of her would be intimidating I think.
I gave the intimidation factor some thought lately. Physically I am not intimidating at all. Absolutely not. But there might be one thing that I really need to try and fix. My face. Let me try and explain. Have you ever notived that certain ethnicities seem angry, while not being angry at all? E.g. Arabian/persian guys. I kinda look like an Arabian guy. Well nobody can ever guess what my heritage it. People think I am Turkish, Greek, Portuguese, Spanish, Italian, Israeli etc… you catch my drift? I am afraid that when I have a neutral face, I look a bit angry, bothered or occupied. This needs to be fixed. I recently realised that when I need to smile when someone takes a picture of me, I have trouble making a sincere smile. Not good. I think I need to relearn how to have the happy face from my pre-teens.
Myself and others have discussed the “Definitive Book of Body Language” in other threads. The book, (which has become very important to me) has an entire chapter on smiling. I want to quote a little:
“When you smile at another person they will almost always return the smile, which causes positive feelings in both you and them, because of cause and effect. Studies prove that most encounters run more smoothly, last longer, have more positive outcomes and dramatically improve relationships when you make a point of regularly smiling and laughing to the point where it becomes a habit. Evidence shows conclusively that that smiles and laughter build the immune system, defend the body against illness and disease, medicate the body, sell ideas, teach better, attract more friends and extend life. Humour heals.”
I want that habit ! Any ideas how to accomplish that?
Another quote:
*President George W. Bush always has a permanent smirk on his face. Ray Birdwhistell found that smiling among middle-class people is most common in Atlanta, Louisville, Memphis, Nashville and most of Texas. Bush is a Texan and they smile more than most other Americans. As a result, in Texas, an unsmiling individual might be asked if he was ‘angry about something’, while in New York, the smiler might be asked, ‘What’s so funny?’ President Jimmy Carter was also a Southerner who smiled all the time. This worried the Northerners, who feared that he knew something that they didn’t. Smile constantly. Everyone will wonder what you’ve been up to. *
I want that smirk ! But is just feels so unnatural to my facial muscles… The Netherlands as a society has much much more in common with NY then Texas. So the smirk must work !
Yes I read some threads some time ago. But I was under the impression that it wasn’t really a big deal. I’ll do a new search on the subject.
