Look, quite honestly LTDShred, we’re no strangers to love. You know there are rules (in the high schools) and so do I. In order for you to succeed, a full commitment’s what i’m thinking of. You wouldn’t get this from any other guy. I’ve been there, I just wanna tell you how i’m feeling. I have to make you understand!!!
This is really some of the best advice I’ve seen on the Internet ever. Seriously.
The best thing you can do for yourself is to discover what you truly love to do. By doing that, you’ll give yourself direction in life (which is an attractive quality), and you’ll get to know yourself, which leads to self-confidence (another - and probably the most important - attractive quality).
As you get older, you’ll find that people will react very positively to you when they see that you are a confident, motivated person.
dude i know exactly wat you are goin through. seemed like the same shit was happenin to me my junior and senior year in highschool. I just started college and things are soo much better. Its a clean slate. you can be who YOU want to be and not the person everyone else in highschool has made u out to be
You want women? Carry yourself like they should be the ones chasing you. walk tall, not cocky. attitude is everything. dont be overbearing, but don’t be shy. play it cool and let shit happen. its all about charisma.
believe me. in highschool, i had very few friends and not many people wanted to hang out. now, i’m invited and go to at least 2 parties every weekend, and have become the person people holler out to when i walk through the door. but that is a different story for a different time.
maybe you don’t want to be with the drinkin crowd. i thought i didn’t either. but i found its not bad if u rnt stupid bout it.
college is great man, dont let the people in highschool get you down. like i said, keep your head high, shoulders back and walk like u deserve attention.
pheromones can only help wats there in the first place, not create a whole new person. change the attitude. i did, and its the best thing thats happened to me. the funny thing is that the girls come up to me now and talk. that shit never happened before. i would make conversation and fail. its all ATTITUDE .
chances are things wont change much while ur still in highschool. but believe me man, it doesnt get any better than college
Erroneous thinking - I started highschool with a REALLY bad rep… Accutane (in 1997 we didn’t realize it was a depressant) + puberty made me a wreck. Couple that with being one of those “skinny guys” who weighed maybe 110-120 lbs by grade 9.
Yes, I had a group of friends but in that group I was essentially an outsider and was frequently bullied (by my supposed “friends”).
I was actually alot like LTD, I talked to girls at school and they always seemed interested… but never romantically. I even went through the embarassment of asking a girl for a dance at a highschool dance, then asking her on a date later that night (she did say yes to the dance)… and subsequently have her deny ever having said yes when I (very stupidly) let it slip to someone that I was going on a date with her (he went back to school and told everyone who would listen).
My saving grace - I realized that I really loved to dance and went to my local YMCA the first friday of every month for it’s teen dances. When I went I danced my face off, I had fun and I most certainly did not just sit in the corner and watch everyone. Come slowdance time - I went and asked someone, the first cute girl I saw alone… yeh I was scared… and yeh I had some girls say no (that sucked)… but I also had girls say yes. The longer I went and the more I danced the better I got at looking good doing it and the better I felt being out there. I found a passion for dancing and eventually that passion shone through… I had girls asking me to dance on slow dances (one which I royally fucked up because she was super hot, I got all flustered and didn’t recognize that the song was a slowdance from its start and made her think that I accepted her request out of pity… and then was too flustered to ask her for a dance during the next slow dance… she was so damn hot)
By the end of highschool I had far fewer people whom I considered friends at my school… essentially just one good guy friend. I dumped all my friends who treated me like shit… I just stopped trying with them because I realized that it wasn’t worth trying to be their friend when all they did was cause me suffering. I also had girlfriend whose grad I had taken her too the year before (she was older… and from a different school), a bunch of friends from outside my highschool (all older and having legitimate drinking parties - age to drink is 18 in MB) and I had a hell of a lot more confidence in myself.
I left Highschool already rocking the kazbah because I found a passion and went with it.
(Not that life was perfect… things were actually pretty shitty with that girlfriend by that point and I couldn’t seem to get myself to leave her… I wasted a bunch of prime time/opportunities in Uni… this still happens to be my fatal flaw… I like to dig my holes as deep as I can get em)
wow dude. glad things r workin for you now. kinda how i was as well. girls would talk and have fun with me, but never considered me as more than a friend (not for my lack of trying). but now its all good. so my advice, LTD, is dont let them suck you down. be who YOU are and dont let anyone hold you back. find your your passion and give it hell. things will come naturally from then on
LTD, I’ve gotta say, I feel for you. You’ve gotten some solid advice from people here, and I hope you find the fortitude to follow some of it. Although I’d especially agree with the advice about pain-avoiding and pleasure-seeking; however, as a guy who was about as clueless and desperate as you describe yourself when I was in high school, I can at least add my voice to the chorus of others here promising a light at the end of the tunnel.
Your biology in high school literally limits you from making good decisions, as the higher functioning parts of your brain haven’t fully formed yet. So add that to the equation, and then take into account that what you’re after (women’s affection) is a small thing, and a BI-PRODUCT OF OTHER, MORE SUBSTANTIAL THINGS.
Do yourself a favor and stand on the shoulders of our mistakes; it will save you time and heartache to pursue other interests that you feel natural with and let that develop into an actual personality. Your persona is a composite of your passions, talents, interests and ability to interact with others in a way that makes them feel good about themselves. Make a conscious decision to stop hanging your self worth from the actions of girls at your high school, and find some things you enjoy doing (not what you saw in a movie that got some guy laid).
Best of luck to you, little brother. I hope you keep your head up.

“Poor is the man whose pleasure depends on the permission of another.”
LTD sometimes it soothes the soul to have a backup plan…this was mine when i first began this pua journey…i told myself that i’m gonna work at this for the next 10 years..and if at the end of that time, i haven’t gotten anywhere with women, i’m just gonna say fuck it and get me some hookers…either way, i’m gonna get laid
it’s also important to yourself to give yourself a reasonable amount of time..i’ve read a lot of literature that states that it takes the average non-natural male 5-10 years to become good with women…so take that into consideration.
