Anyone think picking up young waitresses is an easy task? I don’t. For one there usually very busy during peak hours and the hottest ones are usually there only during that time.
Secondly, they have good social skills which means they’re used to talking to a lot of people. Having said that just talking to strangers isn’t enough to make them turned on like in other occupations.. Thus the talk has to stand out.
I feel I have 2-3 good looking waitresses I’d like to work on. Luckily I frequent the restaurants of my choice daily. But running into the same waitress is a random shoot and may happen once a week or less even if I go everyday.
I don’t feel I can just blurt out , hey how about I take you out sometime to these type of women because its too easy to get rejected.
In fact its probably easier to develop some sort of rapport with them over weeks so they know you a bit, reel them in like a fish, and get them thinking about you first before perhaps asking them a shocking question like “It would be great if i could see you someplace other than here… how about lunch sometime. Why don’t you give me your phone number and I can text you?”
Idon’t know I’m just guessing here… I’ve never dated waitresses before.
I’m thinking rapport is a must first before you can ask them out.
Anyone here have SUCCESS dating waitresses? Especially young ones 21-25? What methods did you use?
As for mones i’m sticking to tried and true AMMO/IS.
I do. Its as easy or difficult as you believe it is. I’ve dated more women that I’ve met as bartenders or waitresses than anywhere else. I just talk to them like they are already my friends.
First thing I do is ask them their name and then call them by it. When I’m with a group I introduce them to everyone in the group but I don’t say my name. Then when they ask me my name I call them out on them asking me my name like they just invited a total stranger to call them maybe . I neg stack them with some OMG you are such a terrible waitress but also let them know you are kidding…maybe. Keep them guessing. I give them shit but when they do something nice or right I make it a very big deal, like they not only gave me great service, but its because they want to date me. Works like a charm.
Its so natural for me now to do it I get dates even when I’m out on a date. I cannot go into a place in downtown Memphis without at least a few waitresses knowing me
Again first bit of advice is if you think its hard to date a waitress it is going to be. You need to build instant attraction with them. If you keep returning to build attraction they will know you are just like every other guy who doesn’t have the balls to ask them out. By making them work for tips and appreciating when they give good service they chase you as if you are the prize.
Honestly there is no particular mones I wear to pick up waitresses. I usually just wear what I decide for the night depending on the locale, the friends I’m with, what I’m in the mood for. The other night I went to a wedding. I wore all socials. Afterwards a bunch of us went to a bar for a beer. So it’s not really setting up to pick up waitresses or bar staff because that would pay more value into a situation before it actually earns the value. Which actually adds credence to your earlier statement that waitresses are difficult to pick-up. It sounds like you might be putting them on one of those they are so much better than me pedestals.
I used to do that too. Bars and restaurants usually hire the hottest girls if they’re intelligent and want to pull in paying customers. People spend more money, especially guys, if they want to impress others. Those same guys usually are going to wait until they’re drunk-$$$-and the girls don’t want to deal with a guy who doesn’t have the gumption to talk before he is drunk. Liquid courage and they deal with it everyday.
They don’t want to interact the guy who knows they are forced to talk with them so he flatters them with compliments.
So again my suggestion is to be yourself and don’t go there to pick up a waitress. Go there to enjoy drink, food, friends and life. As soon as she comes ask her name the very first thing you do. Its very important to establish that you are two people enjoying each others company. Don’t sweat what mones or that she is a waitress. Just go and treat her like anyone else.
Ok forget which mones you used, also forget treating waitress on a pedestal. After you decided to make the move, what did you say to pick her up? I assumed you built rapport first, and then one day you just asked her out or for her phone number, but did you find success in any particular approach to the telephone number or asking for a date.. How did you go about that FINAL step? Do you have a line you always use?
I would say its not just any one thing. Its a culmination of talking to her throughout the night, building the rapport, letting her know you’re not typical, changing her emotions. I have them hate me, love me, laugh with me, emotional throughout the entire interaction and she wants to get to know me. Certainly I’m not successful with every waitress I meet, but my success rate is pretty darn great.
By the time I’m ready to leave she has had so much of all the emotions with me we feel like old friends. She doesn’t want me to leave so I just say something along the lines of lets carry this on another time. They readily agree. This is usually the tricky part though as most waitresses cannot give out their numbers. Even if its not a company policy, they don’t want other guys to see it and they don’t want to feel like a slut in front of the other workers. On the other hand if they give you the number in front of others its mad social proof for you.
If I can’t get a number that night the interaction is pretty much dead in my mind. Sure I might go back to that bar, but I make it a point to sit in another persons section. This is very important. You do not want to make it appear as if you are there for her. When she see’s, or hears about from another waitress, how much fun you are having she will come back. This is a jealousy plot-line and even she gets territorial and will ask why didn’t you sit in my section? I just tell them I thought we had a connection but at the end of the night she just didn’t seem all that interested and I didn’t want to bother her again. This tells her you have lots of options and she will do everything to tell you how she loved spending time together. If I don’t get numbers right away this tactic usually has them begging to go out with me. I have gotten numbers and even immediate after work dates here. At the same time the actual waitress is competing with the other and it makes it so much easier to close her too.
Life is short so there is no tomorrow or return trip. I will never go to a place just because there is someone there I didn’t close. I will actually avoid that place. If I happen to go back then the above applies. If not, so be it. These girls are working for a living and don’t need me around trying to pick them up. So with that in mind I’m there to eat, drink and be merry and bring cheer into their lives. If they suck as a waitress I let them know. This usually adjusts their service. If they are great I’m very appreciative.
Back to getting the number: If they really want to give it to you they can find a way, but sometimes its just not possible. If you did what I said in the very beginning you’d have their name. I have them actually write their first name down on a coaster or paper. They always ask why and in a devilish way I tell them so I know who to complain about if the beer is warm. Look them in the eye and don’t smile until they do. Now you have their name and call them by it. Nobody else is doing that so you already set yourself apart. If you can’t get the number ask them to write their last name too and as if passing you’ll add them on facebook. Of course just to see if she has real pictures of herself up. I mean she could be lying about how she looks to you. Humor is very important and if you catch what I just did there you’ll understand. Believe me, they always catch that one. Delivery is important though.
I know so many guys that want to see if the number is real so they get her number and then attempt to call her. She’s at work, she took a risk giving it to you. RESPECT HER! I’m confident in myself enough that I don’t ever check numbers and I don’t ever worry about giving out my number. Its either real or she calls, or she is the one missing out. I have lots of people calling me
I would say the most important thing is to be real. Recognize she is at work. Bring her through a range of emotions, get her name, make eye contact and most importantly understand you’re there for the food and drink and she is just a plus to it all. Be happy
Steve is right on the Money, focus on the moment and enjoying each others company Rather then the result or Pick Up. When you are genuine and confident in who you are and are just looking to have a good time and don’t care about results. Every aspect of your game will improve. And for picking up waitresses, a lot of them can’t give out thier number but there isn’t anything that says they can’t give out their names. Listen to Steve and you will do just , fine. He knows what he is talking about.
Steve is on point, there really isn’t anything more I could add.
I’m actually dating one, well a bartender, and honestly it came out of nowhere. At first it was like oh this one is cute, this one is cute, and then you try to go out with them, and that rarely ever works. What I did was enjoy my time there when I’m with my friends. I don’t know what type of place this is but I typically sat at the bar (it was both a restaurant/bar) and became friendly with the bartenders. We would all share stories and I treated them like my friends. All of them eventually got comfortable with me and because I was out and enjoying myself and living my life, when it came time to say “let’s go here” they automatically without any hesitation just said yes. It really led to an atmosphere where there was comfort already built in. I was dating other girls and I brought some of those girls there. While it may have caused some “jealousy” with some of the girls, it was never the point, I enjoyed their company and they enjoyed mine and the attraction just ramped up.
I don’t know exactly how your town or city works but what I would do is I would show up and pre-game there and then I would go out wherever I would go for the night and sometimes end the night there after I’m done. I didn’t do it to play the “game” but in hindsight, it looks like how you want to look in how the PUA books teach.
As time went on and as I got closer with the girls and because of the advent of facebook and social media, their friends started seeing pictures of their co workers having fun with my friends and I and that’s when I got to the point where I literally had the entire staff on my phone and they had my number.
It came to a point after a few months that I considered them my friends and not someone who was someone that I just hung out with. There were times they weren’t feeling well or needed something and I would pick it up for them on my way in or if I was around the area. The rapport and comfort grew until I was no longer considered a customer but a friend.
Personally, I hooked up with a couple of them and I’m dating one now, and I know for a fact that there were a few more who liked me. I wasn’t the best looking there by any stretch of the imagination but I was one of the most genuine.
This is off topic and I learned this from Steve, which is live your life by your standards and happiness, as long as you’re not hurting anyone intentionally or with any mal intent, you will have these things you seek work out for you but you need to believe that.
I met the love of my life there. I can truly say that that wouldn’t have been the case if I wasn’t being myself.
My friend picked up a waitress once using methods similar to what Steve described. He walked in like he owned the place. He was cocky, he was funny, he negged her, complimented her, shocked her with a personal question/comment or two, and by the end of the night she was finding excuses to come near our table despite us clearly being served. He left his number with the bill and she ended up texting him within two days.
Don’t think much ever came of the situation but the point is picking up a waitress can be done if you have the right knowledge and tools. Believe me when I say the friend who accomplished it is no PUA, but he had the perfect personality to come in there and set himself apart from the regular customers.
