P122 report: Kicked in hard and fast, but a sharp drop-off at the end. Is it normal?
A week ago while cleaning out my medicine cabinet, I found stray bottle of P122. I used it before, then abandoned it, because of its effects. It made me get mesmerized by the color green. And on top of that, it gave me severe anxiety. I tossed in it the back of the cabinet, and forgot about it.
But when I found it while cleaning, I decided to give it another chance. I was going to a karaoke night with a group, so I figured “why not?”. This is what happened.
P122: 3 sprays on the neck
No cover scent

Demographic: 32, Caucasian
No anxiety whatsoever! The only difference I noticed is that I had sharper, quicker reflexes while driving. Things like honking harder when someone cut me off, and changing lanes on a busy highway without difficulty.
Young girl: the hard and fast
Demographic: early 20’s, Caucasian
She was the one that gave me the hardest hits. When I arrived at the bar, found my group, and had some liquid courage, I went onstage to sing. I must have done really well, because everybody in the bar applauded. This girl suddenly comes up to me, and says she wants to do a duet together. While we’re picking a song out of the songbook, she’s standing very close, enough to bump hips. We pick “Vivir mi vida” by Mark Anthony. Then comes turn to sing.
During the word parts, she gets very cuddly with me, with arms wrapped around each other’s the waist and heads touching. Then during music breaks, I pull her into the closed position, and we do the salsa basic step together, while pressed almost close enough for chests to touch. Then, to add to the raunchy factor, she periodically interjects the song lyrics with a mildly insulting statement directed at me. I insult her right back, course. We finish off by taking a bow while holding hands, like actors in a theater. Even the DJ looked a little bit surprised at the performance.
Most people would say “She wants you!”, but my past experiences were different. I’ve had women dance with me just like this (out of comfort with my dancing level or body proximity in general), only to refuse to go farther when I attempted to escalate. Also, she seemed a bit too wild for me, so I don’t know how she’d be as a date. But as a karaoke duet partner, she’s totally awesome! Not to mention incredibly attractive, both face and body.
Young girl: the drop-off
Demographic: early 20’s, Caucasian
Throughout the rest of the night, we engaged in periodic flirting, banter, and frequent cuddliness and touching. But toward the end, either when my P122 wore off or when she got tired, her behavior suddenly changed. It became emotionally flat. Any flirty banter seemed to have suddenly stopped. I also noticed she came with a guy. But I think he was just a friend, since they never kissed, hugged, or held hands the entire night. Not to mention he didn’t lift a finger when me and the girl were getting raunchy onstage. They ended up leaving together before I asked for her phone number. Bummer!
Young girl’s friend
Demographic: mid 20’s, Caucasian
She seemed very sweet and friendly, although her attitude toward me was just that: friendly. I touched her on the arm a little bit while talking to her, and she reciprocated. She also showed zero discomfort with me taking her by the hands and dancing, while explaining the salsa dance number I wanted to do while singing a duet. While I’m kind of interested in her too, it doesn’t really seem fair of me to show romantic interest in her (as opposed to the friendly flirting I did), after I already told her I was interested in her friend.
She might give me some hope, though. I’ve seen her in the group before (while having met her friend, the girl from above, for the first time), so hopefully, she can find out if her friend is single and interested. She did, after all, seem to respect me as a friend, and not as a “friend zone” friend, either; just a casual friend she sees semi-regularly.
Other people
Demographics: 20’s and 30’s, mostly Caucasian, a few Hispanic
Other people in the group, both guys and girls, were giving me hearty high-fives after the first time I sang (alone). Then after the duet, more high-fives and endless praise. This time, total strangers in the bar actually came up to me and the girl, just to give us compliments, and even alpha-looking men directed most of the statements to me, rather than to the girl. Employees behind the bar gave me lighting-fast service.
Conclusion
I think I dropped the ball here. The young girl I sang with probably wanted me to ask her phone number or something, and was miffed that I didn’t. Or maybe she just wanted to play around and have fun (which I gave her), and sent out a non-verbal signal that she’s had enough (which I listened). Either way, I don’t care enough to be upset about this. I’m just pleased to see I still got it
, as well as the flirting potential of karaoke that I exploited.
