After on of my classes there is a girl I want to get to know better. Her class begins 5 minutes after my class ends. My interactions with her would be 3 minutes tops. I have talked to her before and she is always pleasant and engages in conversation with me. I usually start talking but she always talks too.
We have had conversations in the 3 minutes for about 2 weeks, 2 days per week (4 times total). Some of our conversations abruptly have to end as they are on a deeper level. I know how to ask her to continue our conversations, but would it come off as needy, or creepy if I was to?
There are IOI’s there and good body language, but like I said it is only 3 minutes.
I think it depends on the girl and how you say it. If you’re genuine and let her know you’d like to continue these talks and get to know her better, she shouldn’t have a problem. If you find her interesting, tell her so!
I wouldn’t just say “Hey, let’s continue talking somewhere else” though. That’s a little creepy, especially for someone you talk to in the three minutes between classes. I don’t think it would be strange if you asked her to accompany you to a coffee shop or asked if she was free for lunch or something because again, you find her interesting.
Then again, there are always the guarded types that will misunderstand your interest, so if that’s how she is (which… hopefully, she isn’t) then it’s a bit more complicated…
Well I think Sam is right. She is taking the time to talk to you so that is a good sign. If she wasnt interested she would probably have avoided you. I dont think its needy or creepy.
Sorry there sam17, not enough comfort to move to another setting yet. Besides that I have also engaged her classmate in conversation and it would be too in your face interest.
I’m a freaking PUA after all not an AFC . Sheeesh!
I was thinking the same thing here Lor. I spiced up the conversation today a bit and had her holding off on getting into class. I could see by her leaning she didn’t want to end her thought. It wasn’t about a date, it was about her finishing her thought train.
So what I did was say hey it’s too bad we always get cut-off mid thought. There’s got to a way I can continue to prove you wrong without you having to flee into your class. (We banter). This lit her up and she said I’m in for it now and slugged me in the arm.
She said her class was only an hour and I should stick around. I said no way my time is way more valuable than sticking around just to prove you wrong. Her teacher interrupted with the old throat clear and I said I would see her Wednesday and it should give her enough time to try and come up with a worthy argument.
She had a big smile when she went into class, but before she did she said she would set me straight on Wednesday and it would be worth every second of my time.
Steveo, you should watch the new entourage episode, IDK if u’re a fan or not… but its funny how they compare getting dinner/lunch/coffee (NOT DESSERT ) with someone
I second moving it to a better venue. E.G. one day pass her in the hall, stop just long enough to say hi, but you have to go to the library, local starbuck’s etc. (someplace instantly recognizeable and local) to give a 3 hour talk on the mating rituals of wild horned road runners and the sociopolitical impact thereof and if she thinks she can, invite her to try and heckle you
images of you chained up in some university basement wearing a lucha libra mask pouring out your inner-most secrets as she douses you with the stash of betanol she caught you with …
