Yeh dude, Highschool is highschool… you get thrown into your little caste from however you were in Junior high and without remarkable effort that doesn’t change.

Go outside highschool - Get a hobby where you will meet new people (not associated with people in your highschool) and forget about all the silly little bullshit.

One of the best things that ever happened to me was going to a week long conference in Grade 10 - ended up being the only person from my school to go that week (normally 2 people from a particular school would go during each session… I just happened to choose a week where nobody else wanted too)

I get there and was like - well I never have to see these people again -> I’m just going to be myself and not give a shit. At the end of the week one particular girl actually cried when we left for different airport terminals (she was a HORRIBLE kisser… )

The experience completely changed my outlook, I realized that I was a naturally likeable guy and all this bullshit at school wasn’t worth it. I proceeded to dump the majority of my “friends” (they treated me like shit) and spent the next two years being the kinda weird guy who really just didn’t give a shit about what people thought of him.

Funny thing was… in Grade 12 there was this girl who had graduated a couple years earlier and was coming back to upgrade. Ended up sitting beside me randomly in Chem class and, because I talk constantly when I’m bored (and highschool chem is boring) we chatted it up. She ended up sitting with me in Physics as well.

Long story short - halfway through the term she comes up to me and goes “People think really weird shit about you”… After my look of confusion “Wazzat?” she explained she was having a convo with people in her applied math and the subject got onto me (somehow). She said I was cool… people went really… you’re talking about Seewald?
The rest of our convo was about how Highschool is absolutely ridiculous.

Anyways long personal story short - Plenty of evidence that I’m a social guy… likeable - didn’t matter even when social proofed from an older girl that people thought was cool - Didn’t matter that I was dating an older girl from another highschool in the city - I was the weird kid, and that was that.

Forget highschool, they think what they think there - look outside of it and FORGET all the bullshit from inside. Just be yourself - you’ll find people who like you for you and it is so much more enjoyable spending time like that.

Yeah your right, it gives me hope for the future.
