I know what you’re saying, but I AM acting uninterested right now LOL.
Apparently I have a blind date Friday night (I may have work though) and she’s going to hear about it (word travels, not from me).
SHES the one that stares blankly at me, I don’t make eye contact no more.
Also, I think she’s expecting a phone call from me tonight, she’s not getting one.
When I go to Greece with her in April (school trip) that’s when I plan on getting her. 10 days away from her boyfriend + 10 days with me (and I’m PRETTY sure she still likes me a bit) = I’m THINKING I got dis.
ALSO, I’m talking to other girls in FRONT of her, making them laugh, telling them the same corny jokes I used to tell her, and I laugh with them as well.
When she turns around, sometimes I tell her what I said that was ‘so funny,’ other times I just shake my head or say “dont worry about it.”
ya just act like shes just A girl because in reality she is only just a girl… I am sorry if I was harsh but girls are good at playing games and they really do enjoy it. don’t be a part of it .
That’s unfortunate. I’m exactly the opposite. I don’t usually have trouble moving on if I must, and am good friends with all my exes. I actually discuss my current relationships with them with few problems.
Vespero, this outlook comes with age and maturity. I too work hard to keep former love relationships as friends. If you loved them once, and nothing “evil” happened to that love, then there was something there that you connected with and resonated with. Seems a shame to waste and lose that! The best love relationships always seem to have a grounding in a deep friendship anyway, either before or during the love match. Breaking that is terrible.
I wish this guy the best of luck with HIS LIFE, but I think that’s not resonating with him right now. I’m reminded of the line Spock said on Vulcan, after “killing” Kirk, to T’Pau: “Sometimes… having a thing is not nearly so great as wanting a thing.” (Total points to whomever can tell me the name of the episode! )
HAHA well, from what I understand, I’m going in the right direction with this right now (am I right? Acting uninterested, not buying into her BS, etc.)
So, when I have her alone in Greece (she told me she wants to hang with me and her friends cuz I speak fluent Greek and know the country fairly well) it’s really make it or break it for me. I’m going to play the cute, romantic “friend,” and if she makes a move on me, I’m gonna tell her 'I like you, but I don’t think your BF would approve of this."
From what I understood from The Game, once I do that, the next time I have her, I initiate contact and I won’t just have one night of petting. Who knows, 10 days away from her BF MIGHT make her realize that she likes me better, OR I might realize that there’s WAY better out there than her, and they’re there for my taking.
What use is acting uninterested going to be on your sanity? You’re Cleary driving yourself insane over this girl. You say you think your going in the right direction but truthfully there is no right direction. Don’t act uninterested become genuinely uninterested. It’s a paradox because that’s the only way you’re going to get her. You say they’re are better ones out there but you’re just going to have one last try with this girl before you move on, but I’ve seen you say it countless other times in this thread. You REALLY, REALLY need to let it go. She simply isn’t in to you and you only think she is because you’re over analysing everything until you find something that may possibly indicate interest.
I’ve been there; I think everyone’s been there. I’m sorry but you have to get over it. She doesn’t fancy you.
I totally agree with WildFlower, plus some of these comments on here routing you on and telling you to keep on trying (or trying other stuff) isn’t really helping this kid move on.
I’ll just do what I do, go on my date (if they don’t call me into work) and I’ll have fun. I’ll do everything in my power to get this chick off my mind.
once she labels you a friend, she pretty much welded your zipper shut. you have two huge obstacles. the borefriend and we’re just friends crap. i rather next her, but ross jeffries has some great tips for your situation.
if you were to imagine a Shangri-La of hot gunches everywhere and they all wanted you, would you still be thinking about her?
trust me, you don’t have to. there is enough of his materials on the internet, so that it is not necessary. there should be a ton of mp3’s and videos of his stuff for free on limewire too.
I’m over the girl
It kinda happened like overnight, about 2 weeks ago, REALLY strange.
BUT, wasted WAY too much time on her, prom asking season came WAY too early (class officers only gave us a week’s warning) so I’m dateless right now. My friends and I went to the mall, and we’re trying this 16 year old (kinda young, but legal ) that works at Chik-Fil-A.
I asked the Latina chick I talked about earlier, she already had a date
But, w/e, I know the kid she’s taking. It’s just friends, he’s not the type to do anything, and he’s a classic GREAT kid. So I’m fine w/ that.
OT: Also, got accepted into Lafayette College today!! )))) Girls there are FREAKY! HAHA
Congrads Lakerman on your acceptance… glad you moved on without force…finding prom date can be stressfull! for my prom abunch of us dateless single gals and guys rented a van and had a blast… took the edge off of not asking/being asked by someone you dont really like.
Glad to hear you got over it and congrats on your college accepatance.
No real subtle way to put it, so I guess I’ll just say it. What difference does it make if you’re fine with her seeing this kid or not? You come across as an extremely possessive type person. And that makes it all the harder to let it go when you get yourself tangled.
Perhaps I mis-read your message, or took it out of context, either way just be careful not to set yourself up for round 2
The girl is EXTREMELY sexy, and MANY guys have tried and failed. I kinda was expecting a yes b/c last yr., word is she wanted me to ask her to junior prom, and, being part Latino, I thought that helped out a lot.
I’m saying that I would have taken it as rejection if she went w/ someone who asked her AFTER I asked her, and probably would have been a lot harder for me.
